I've decided that I need help...

I wasn't exactly sure what it meant to be "adopted" on DV. So I took a look at the forum. I think it's a wonderful program.

I've come to the conclusion that I need to be adopted.

I am very good with my dream recall.

I don't remember dreams every night, there is maybe one night a week where I don't remember anything. If one night a week at all.

I usually remember dreams in great detail and vividness.

I've had maybe one real lucid dream.

I've learned what my dream signs are but I need help triggering lucidity when dreaming and see these signs.

I've tried to WILD twice and both times were unsuccessful.

I want to learn how to REALLY control my dreams.

I want to learn to become a pro.

I feel that the forums are very helpful but not helpful enough to lead me to be the advanced dreamer I know I can be.

I want an adopter who will take me very seriously. Who will be there for me no matter how "stupid" my questions may seem. I am very serious about this.

I would be happy to adopt you. I have LDs 2-3 times per week, have been at it for about 10 years. I have attended Stephen Leberge's seminar in Hawaii twice. I have some very reliable dreamsigns, so I can both WILD and DILD. I have done just about everything I have wanted to experience in my lucids. I'm a little older than you, but I AM NOT CRUISING for youngsters. I only want to help anyone interested in lucid dreaming to succeed. It took a lot of work for me to get to where I am, and I had lots of help. Time to give back.

I think you are exactly what I am looking for in an adoptee. I have friends I met through the journals who are pretty advanced but I'd like someone I don't already know. I think it's great that you had a lot of help getting to where you are today with lucids too. It will make it that much better for you to help me.

So how do we go about setting up the "adoption"?

Good luck with your adoption! Even tho i've been on a 3 month dryspell lately, feel free to ask me any questions as well. I've had some pretty cool LD's before.

Great! I'm fairly new on the site. I'm not sure how it's done, or if there is a formality. Maybe an admin could add a note here?

BTW, had some wonderful LDs this very morning. I find it really helps to find a day when you can sleep in, and I mean LATE; stay up a little later the night before to get really sleepy. I usually wake up fairly early at first, then drift off into lucid land.

I have some friends from the site and I'll ask them how it works. I'm actually fairly good friends with Amethyst Star, the girl who wrote the Adoption tutorial.
