You've been asking for it. Here is the forum in which people can discuss interpretation of dreams. Enjoy!
A tutorial should be ready soon!

turns to me and says "Why are
you here? .... Are you blind like
me?"
What I've found
What I've known

These writings of Sigmund Freud are very enlightening to dream interpretation as well (may even deserve an entire thread to him to actually..)
Thanks to Death-Wuad for this great site!

bleh...a bit too long winded heh...i only got about 1/4 thru...i might finish it later...need sleep....
Yaya, I LOVE dream interpretation. I usually find that my dreams are triggered by things I see on TV or things I hear but once in a while I will find that an occurance or item in a dream symbolizes something else occuring in my waking life. Once you find the connection it's great, it's like solving a Holmes mystery!
this is an often overlooked aspect of dreaming, glad to see it has it's own forum on here. i will definitely be in here often![]()
i'd hardly say its often overlooked...generally when people think about discussing dreams the first thing they think of is interpreting them...
The book (third edition) is nearly 900 pages long.. very small text, lol.Originally posted by WerBurN

ok well i keep on having this dream,
im at school n my dad picks me up one day, and thats weird cuz i study in a diff country than where my dad lives. so we are driving in the car, and hes just in a bad mood, telling me about everything in his life, but it doenst make sence. so i ask him whats wrong and he just burts out crying, and im thinking, what is wrong with this man, because hes a very well stern person, and i have never seen him cry, (ever) he tells me that he is going to die in a month, that he knows so, but now how he knows, and that he is worried about how im gonna get tru collage if he dies, and about all his worries. so then wer at my home town and hes hiding from people. as if they are going to hunt him down. and im scared, but at the same time i feel safe but then this guy walks in and starts talkint o my dad, and im then left alone. completely. then i wake up, its the same thing, and nothing changes, iv had this dream for about well... since i started going to school. i looked up what it says on the net, bout what dreams mean, but every site has a diff message. mayb u guys can help me out.![]()

I remember you said that in a thread in the Lounge a long time ago.
Are you dreaming?
I really like this forum thanx peepz!!
After checking out a few dreams people have posted for interpretation, I noticed a major piece of dreaming missing--EMOTION.
I don't think you can even try to talk about what a dream means without including the dream's emotional content. We all know symbols are idiosyncratic and are meaningless to other people. Plot summaries are not much better. But plot plus emotion equals interpretable.
I hope ya'll might think about including more emotional content.
"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar"

Ahh that is quite the thing to now think about. I will now consider the general feeling or emotion that the dream itself had next time. I remember one dream now thinking about where I was at a apartment complex and blah blah blah later it came time to get home and I didnt have my liscense (which I should but dont) and my moms car was there and my friend wanted to drive but he was drunk and I did not know waht to do.
Thinking back I think that in real life I really want my liscense so I will be able to do the things I want to do even though I hade that I dont really care that I dont have wow strange![]()
This is a disconnected relationship w/a strong father figure, or your true father you feel your cut off from what you may have had before. There are so many things which you have taken for granted, which you are now trying to deal with. You are seeing that your assumed character of this father figure/ father is not what is under the surface. There must be a reopening of the lines of communication with this person, reestablish a clearer understanding of this person’s true feeling towards you. The others in the dream are his fears of having other things take you away from him for good. The relationship of the parents to the children changes when the children are out on their own; this is your heart telling you that you need to make stronger relationship w/ your father.Originally posted by luvi

ok, this dream is kinda weird and I have no clue how to interpret it but here goes:
I was walking underwater with my girlfriend, we were going some place undetermined. And we were not wearing anykind of underwater gear of any kind, it was like a canal or something a really deep one and we were way at the bottom. So all along the walls of this canal were the carcasses of like ancient sea monster long snakelike monster fishes. They were not decayed or anything, I just knew they were dead. And all the time while walked I could almost sense these things comming back to life. They had huge teeth, they looked really scary.
So at some point we decide to sit down, so I put my back up agaisnt this wall of dead sea monsters. They reek unbearably, this stench of dead. But we talk for a while and I then surface, alone this time.
I find myself on a small beach where this fisherman has his back turned to me and is cleaning his nets. I walk towards him and I stumble, only to find a gun in my hand, which I accidently trigger and I kill him.
Within a second sirens are all over the place police cars are rushing towards me, so I panic and swim in to the water.
Next thing I know a chopper i comming for me, but for no apparent reason it crashes in to the water. I cannot believe my luck.
Just a minute later the next chopper arrives, only to crash in to the water just like the last one. a few minutes later I reach the other shore, get up and walk home.
The End
Now I have no clue what this means, any takes?

(But, unsure of where it would lead)we were going some place undetermined.
(you are feeling vulnerable)And we were not wearing any kind of underwater gear of any kind,
(You feel as though your life is already set)it was like a canal or something a really deep one and we were way at the bottom.
(These are your fears of passed relationships)So all along the walls of this canal were the carcasses of like ancient sea monster long snakelike monster fishes.
(This is the fear of making the same mistakes in this relationship)They were not decayed or anything, I just knew they were dead. And all the time while walked I could almost sense these things coming back to life.
(Your fear of incompatibility troubles you)They had huge teeth, they looked really scary.
So at some point we decide to sit down, so I put my back up against this wall of dead sea- monsters. They wreaked unbearably, this stench of dead.
(You fear that she is not in this relationship for the same reasons as you)But we talk for a while and I then surface, alone this time.
(You fear of sharing your desire to come clean of your pass relationships will kill you)I find myself on a small beach where this fisherman has his back turned to me and is cleaning his nets. I walk towards him and I stumble, only to find a gun in my hand, which I accidentally trigger and I kill him.
(Your fear of expressing yourself to her causes you to stick to the same old patterns of behavior)Within a second sirens are all over the place police cars are rushing towards me, so I panic and swim in to the water.
(You think if you just forget about the pass it will be okay)Next thing I know a chopper I coming for me, but for no apparent reason it crashes in to the water. I cannot believe my luck.

That was pretty insightful, I guess I am having concerns regarding my present relationship. This was just my first very lucid dream in like.....ever. So I guess I was kind of eager to understand it. And I think you just gave me a great deal of help. It is much appreciated\"Adaramelechk\"](The desire for intercourse)

I was glad I could help...

Ok... I had this weird dream.
I was hiding behind some crates, holding a silver coloured pistol. I kept hearingg explosions coming. So when I peer out and shoot, a girl with dark brown hair throws a knife covering in blood at me. It hits me, and I 'die'. I see white, and then I am alive again, still at the crate. I peer above, and anopther knife comes. This continues for a while, and then she walks over to me and says that we can be allies to destroy the boys. I say yes and then I go and punch somebody I know well in the face. END

Last night I had a really strange dream. I was walking down a dark corridor with my best friend. He was wearing a red shirt, and we walked into a bathroom. Suddenly, the toilet started overflowing. A tap over the toilet had been turned on, and was pouring water into the toilet. I told a lady, and then I walked into this room where these grey zombie-dolls were serving strawberry ice cream. I ran from them with my friend into a garden, and hid behind a hedge. Then I saw this tall guy who (I found this out today) looked like Mike from Nickelback. This guy punched me many times ( I felt no pain), and then got these two pieces of metal and attempted to kill me. I kicked him many times in his face! (Boy did that feel good!) I was surprisingly accurate. Then my friend came again and I woke up.
((I seem to get killed or almost get killed in almost every dream I have))
