Thread: Anyone with the same experience...deceased brother in a tragic motorcycle accident

I normally don't believe in things as 'arcane" as this, but my family has been known to have premonitory dreams. Maybe this is the case here. It may also mean that you have never had any form of closure, which the human mind can desperately seek. Any thoughts on this? I don't imagine the closed casket funeral helped at all. Maybe try visiting his grave?

Thank you for your thoughts. Believe me....if someone had told me that this type of experience happened to them, I wouldn't have believed them..until now. I am grateful that he does come to me in my dreams..because it's like he is still around. I don't know, I just wanted to see if other people out there have had weird things happen like that. Yes, I do agree with you, it does make it harder that it was a closed casket...b/c you're right..we never had closure...and it makes it even worse..I saw him right before he left that night and I almost didn't tell him bye..and he made it a point and said, "Hey, aren't you going to say BYE"...which that's something my brother never did... Then when he didn't come back...it was weird that he had just said that to me, right before he died.

You could have had a premonition in the dream - linking into other people's thoughts and actions prior to coming into fruition. Your brother's connection may have been how your mind was telling you everything was going to sort.

I think you may want me to say you are psychically linked, or affirm that in you.

You are, but you need to have perspective on this and still deal with the grief of his passing.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. At first I didn't really want to tell anyone, b/c of people thinking I was nuts. However; it makes me feel better that other people tell me what they believe and the things that have happened to them...so I know I'm not the only one out there with these dreams. I dream about my brother almost every night...and sometimes it may just be a normal dream of us playing together when we were little...but the other day, I had this dream of seeing my brother and this is really weird..but his childhood best friend, died from a car wreck just 3 weeks before my brother died, but I didn't go to his funeral. The dream I had was of my brother taking me to a funeral home...and walking over to a casket that was basically standing up...with his friend in and his eyes were closed...and in my dream...I was kind of "startled" and didn't want to go over to the casket...but it's like he took me to see him in my dream...since maybe I didn't go to the funeral. I have dreams like this basically on a daily basis...it used to bother me, but now...it doesn't..because I am used to it. Anyway, sorry this got so long. I just wanted to thank you for reading my post and telling me what I was wanting to hear. I never wanted to think that I was really in someway, connected with my brother, or deceased relatives in my dreams...but since I have been on here..I have had a couple of people telling me what I was just unsure about and it has made me more comfortable dealing with it. So, thank you again.

Well, you may not want to hear this, but I'm not sure if you are actually talking to your relatives, especially not every night. However, the dreams may be helping you deal with the losses whether you're talking to them or not.
