For me, dreams where people are in the past seem to represent a lack of growth.
I think something is keeping you from growing and that something may be an emotion like lust, anger, and/or fear.
Your guy may represent a first love who has had a lot of influence on you. Perhaps you identify with a characteristic that stand out in him.
Being in a cafeteria, a place where you eat, represents a type of communion between different peoples. The food you eat represents some aspect of your personality. The saying that best illustrates this is "you are what you eat".
Games seem to represent frames of logic. Like logic, games have rules and regulations that affect the way different bodies interact with one another. The frame of logic of the game seems to lean towards anger, hatred, fear, and/or lust.
The chicken represents fear and perhaps submission. The wolf represents anger and/or lust and dominance. Perhaps you switch back and forth between these emotions. I believe this system of logic may be what is hindering you. The duck may represent caution, an attempt to 'duck' (dodge) something or avoid something. This may be an alternative to being feeling fear.
Waking up in the mall may represent the part of you that has grown. The mall is a place of commerce and productivity.
At this point I am really not sure, but I believe the fact that he is whispering may show that his influence on you is subtle or that it is waning to the point that he is becoming nonexistent. Perhaps that is why you asked him if he was real. You were asking if he existed.
The plane which has been delayed or crashed represents that next big step in your life. It is a stepping stone for growth. The plane is meant to allow you to go beyond your current limitations, but the plane is either crashed or delayed. This may mean that you are in a state of arrested development. Something, like that logic from the other dream, is keeping you from growing. Whether the plane is crashed or delayed is your unconscious' way of asking whether you'll be able to make that next big step. If the plane is delayed than it is only a matter of time till you make that next big step, but if the plane has crashed then you may have permanently lost the attribute which was designed to allow you to take the next big step.
Also, going back to your game dream, their seems to be a question of whether you are the duck or the chicken. If you are the duck you may have the ability to fly beyond the hunter (maybe your former crush). If you are the chicken, than your ability to escape the hunter is much more limited because you can't fly. If you are the wolf, you are the hunter. This game may be a eat or be eaten mentality you have. The hunter may be what is hindering you.
I speak from first hand experience. I have had dreams which seem to illustrate similar ideas. I'm not trying to be insulting in anyway. I hope this helps.![]()

I LOVE anime! I'm what is commonly known as an otaku -- in Japanese, the word actually means a huge fan of anything really, like a football otaku, or a theater otaku, however, in an American context, it means a huge, diehard fan of anime and manga, which would be me ^.^ As you might have guessed, Sailor Moon is one of my favorite titles, it was one of the first that I ever watched. I guess since there is a lot about dreaming in Sailor Moon, Eternal Sailor Moon was a perfect theme. In fact, the character Hotaru actually sees Eternal Sailor Moon in a prophetic dream in the first episode of the fifth season, Sailor Stars (a part of which is currently in my sig).
