With that said; I think the dream represents your idealistic girl that you wish to be with. You may have desired this type of woman for many years (3, it seems to be precise). However, lately, you have found that it has become integral to your conscious self.

You were in touch with some strong emotions in the dream. Probably stronger than you would have for a woman in real life.

The tragedy the followed perhaps echoed an experience you once had or are afraid of having - that tragedy/loss follows being in love.

I have been in love with dream girlfriends, yes. I don't believe it is anything to do with past life.
