Thread: endless chasing

This isn't about one dream in particular but about a theme that I haven't been able to escape since I was a little kid. It seems like in almost all of my dreams I am always being chased by something, and usually it seems to be something that's trying kill me. I've had lucid dreams before, but I don't have near enough control to be able to face what's chasing me. I was wondering if there is any way for me to figure out what it is in real life that has been chasing me as a child. I'm really not sure what it is exactly, but it's always had me terrified. Has anyone else had continuous dreams like these and been able to stop them?? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!
