Thread: Getting Shot

Ok this dream screams out to be interpreted.

I am 40 years old riding in the back seat of my parents car, dad is drivng and I am sitting behind mom.
The road is long straight with little to no traffic.
After a period of time I reach into the map pocket in the rear of moms seat, and there is an old rusty revolver. (no way there shold be a gun in dads car) Handeling the gun I accidently shot myself in the abdomen.
No pain, no blood, mom is totaly calm, I just stick my finger in the hole and everything seems to be ok, we just keep on driving.

I woke up with my finger pressed into my abdomen, right at the wound site.

I have come up with a few meanings that make sense, just wanted some other opinions.
