That friend is the reason for the breakup. It sounds like a desire dream to reach her and change her mind as the source of the problem.

What needs interpreting? It is all quite literal. The dream was giving you some closure regarding both your Ex-girlfriend and her hateful and interfering friend. The Dream gave you a happy ending. Good. Now you can move on.

But don't mistake the dream for any indication that you can attain any real rapprochament with these ladies. Regarding Relationships, it is always easier to start fresh than to go back to Damaged Goods. Most people are neither so lovely nor unique that they cannot be replaced by as good or better.

So, take the good feelings of resolution that this dream provided you, and allow that to give you the confidence to find an even better girl... who has decidedly friendlier friends.

To interpret one's dream is always quite difficult (as the presentation of this forum explains too: you're in the best position to interpret your dreams). But I can try to write my impressions.

My sensation is that your subconscious considers your ex-girlfriend and her friend as the same subject. The friend is the skeptic side of yor ex-girlfriend, the part that did not believe in the relationship. The ex-girlfriend of your dream is the part of the real ex-girlfriend that wished to stay with you. It is normal to have opposite sentiments in any relationship and in your case these opposite facets were represented in two distinct persons.

Your dream tried to reconcile both parts and this happened when in your dream the friend suggests your ex-girlfriend to meet you again.

Since dreams are ususally projections of one's subconscious, you probaly had opposite sentiments towards your ex-girlfriend and the dream just played these sentiments trying to find an equilibrium in the final suggestion of the friend.

Your questioning your decision to break-up with your ex, even though there are other girls who catch your attention. You have a feeling that one of the other girls are flirting with you but they are friends with your ex, and that is very unsettling to you cause you don’t like to make waves. Your ex friend is trying to patch things for you but she maybe making it worst, you feel as though your in a tug-of-war with them all.

You know, this may be an exceptional dream I would take at face value. Maybe you should talk to your ex's friend and do exactly what you dreamed.
