Maybe you feel like a friend or stranger (depending on who was there) is attacking you (either threatening you, physical threats, emotional problems involving this person)... it could actually be that person in the field with you (or a symbol of that person.... as was the cobra)
Well, eyes are important to see, and this "cobra" is bitting it. This could mean that you fell that whoever is threating you in your waking life is also blinding you on a way out (i.e. moving on and ignoring them)

Interpert this dream please.. very short!
I had a disturbing dream today. I remember walking in a field with someone, who is a guy, and all of a sudden we notice something shaking in the ground, from a hole in the grass. He is closer to it than I am. All of a sudden I see a cobra snake jump out really quickly, hissing, and I remember it seeing it close up until it bit me in my left eye. It seemes sooooooooo realistic, and I could litterally hear the hissing. I woke up immediately thinking it was real. I actually thought maybe something bit me in real life... but I remember it being very very real. Any ideas?

Hi
I agree with je33ica. I f this person is someone you know becarefull that you are doing what you ant and that he isn't leading you down the wrong part. I f it is a stranger then beware of the new people that you meet. and keep an open mind.
