Hi everyone,

for those lucid dreamers out there, do u all have any success in predicting lottery numbers through lucid dreaming? It is one of the more practical uses of lucid dreaming.

I will share one dream of mine here which I just got just now. I seriously doubt these numbers will actually come out in the lottery, but I hope u all will help me interpret it all the same (so that maybe I can actually win something hehe).

I will only post the relevant part of this dream:

-I was at my old secondary school ("old" because I am no longer a secondary student; secondary school is for teenagers from 12-16 years of age).
- I wanted to go home.
- But no buses or taxis (cabs) were willing to stop for me.
- I got a bit frustrated.
- So I walked into another part of the street.
- There is less traffic here and it is a quiet neighbourhood
-I could see an unusal cab in the distance.
-The unusal cab looks like a white sports car.
-But it too didn't want to stop for me (middle-age lady driver inside)
- There was a little boy too who wanted to go home.
- I told the boy not to worry.
- At this point, I was frustrated that no vehicles were willing to stop for me.
- (I think I gained lucidity at this point somehow, but I am not 100% sure I was lucid)
- I told myself: this is just a dream. Why don't I just fly back home? Or summon a flying cab or something?
- And I looked up to the sky to prepare to do this.
- Then I thought again: wait a minute......since this is just a dream, why do I need to even go home? I think I should start looking for lottery numbers.
- And so I looked at the house number near me.
- I realized the number is not all that clear.
- So I looked more closely. It seemed to be "19".
- Then I told myself, I need to see more numbers (it is a 4-digit lottery system here where I come from). Where's the other 2 numbers?
- Then I looked at the nearby houses and all 3 houses showed "19"?
- I thought to myself: This can't be happening! This must be some cruel joke.
- Then I looked again, and one of the houses (the original one) showed "100".
- At this stage, I was already somewhat going to fly and take off from the ground. As I was more interested in the numbers than in the little boy, I think I must have pulled his hand too hard. He yelled "Ouch", and I thought that even though this is a dream character, I don't wish to accidentally hurt him. So I turned my attention back to him, but looked at the house one more time. This time it showed "35" (not too sure about this number.....it is vague here at that time in the Dream World).

Note: The numbers seem to be unstable in the Dream World. Maybe I should try to stabilize it the next time. Any suggestions?

Any intepretations? About the dream? About what lottery numbers to buy? About how to stabilize numbers and words in dreams?

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Seems like a waste of dreams. Those kinda dreams are better in the day. When you're sleeping you can control the universe!...and you're thinking of lottery numbers?
Well...youll have the last laugh when you win the powerball!

What's "powerball"? Sorry, but I am unfamilar with that cultural context.

Anyway, to be honest with you, I live in a very practical country where more than 99% of the population pursues money only. Most of my friends (if not all) are very practical also. And I would like to surprise them by winning the lottery as proof of the validity of lucid dreaming in their eyes. Most (if not all) of the people over here in this country sees lucid dreaming as a waste of time. I would like to prove them wrong if I can

Do you think Lucid dreaming is only valid if you can win money with it? Im guessing thats not true. I dont know about you but I wouldnt give up lucid dreaming for money. I dont think dreaming is a tool for seeing the future or any other sorcery. Its a deeply personal experience and exploration of myself, not to mention, it can be a hell of a ride. I like to prove the validity, not that it needs to be proven, by bringing a composition from dream to reality. A lot of famous composers have done this. And the only true way for people to understand is through having thier own experience.

Powerball is just a big lottery game worth a crap load. What country is it you live in? Because I live in a very capitalist country myself. Portland,Oregon(US), to be exact.

Your dream may be very true ,but bringing back numbers from dreamworld is very unstable .Like your "35" ,it might be 36 or 39 and so on.If you hit something let as all know !

No, I do not think lucid dreaming is valid only if money can be made with it. But where I come from, this is a minority view, and I belong to a really small minority over here. Live here long enough, and you will know what I say to be true.

Actually, I hope to be able to use lucid dreaming for spiritual purpose as I am walking the spiritual path right now. But I can't be a saint overnight.......it takes time......

Actually, in my teenage years, I have heard music and songs which I don't think exist in this world, but I lacked the musical talent to record them for future generations of humanity. I am not a musically-inclined person.

I live in Singapore, one of the most materialistic societies in the East. Being poor in Singapore is like being a leper in Beverly Hills.

I think US, on the whole, is a nicer place to live. Nice countryside, forests and natural scenery.

Singapore, wow. So you're allowed to chew gum again, right? I heard they removed that law. Well, the US is certainly a nice placer to live. Ive lived in brazil too, so I have something to compare to. US has a Shitty government ,like evey country, but very nice. Ive heard that about Singapore, from people from Singapore. Well, whtever's going on around you, good luck on your spiritual path. Itll help you more than money, wherever you are.

Haha.......I am not a fan of chewing gum, so I am not 100% sure about the change in law, but I did hear some years back that chewing gum is sold again but under controlled conditions this time.

Update:

3 of the numbers did come out in the lottery........sort of......

It came out in a different lottery. Actually, I am not a gambler and so I am not too bothered by such things.

Numbers I thought I dreamt: 19, 100, 35
