Next time that happens, maybe you should check your backpack to see what's in it.
Hey,
This is the third or second time in a row that I dream that I'm with my school backpack and when I need to run, I just can't, like something is pulling me back. I try to jump, but can only jump a few inches from the floor and fall slowly, like low gravity, so I try to jump and pull the walls to go faster.
Last night I had to chase someone so I remembered that I can't run with backpacks in dreams and put it on the floor so that I could run. lol I didn't get lucid (>.<)
Any ideas why? Thanks.

That's quite a sensation dream! I had lots of dreams as a young child I don't remember, but yours really takes me back, especially having to pull on the walls to go forward because your physics just aren't up to snuff.
My guess is that the backpack is your responsibilities weighing you down, and the inability to run may be a lack of self-esteem and self-confidence. This would be a very common stress if you're of high school age.
The guy you were chasing may have been an issue you wanted to confront but was too bashful until you decided to be wreckless about it.
I've dreamed about this a couple of times. Whenever i'm wearing a back pack in a dream i automatically take it off. I feel lighter and more free when i do it, so maybe you could use the back pack to your advantage? Use it as a kind of liberation once you get rid of it.I also tend to discard my jacket in a dream at times.
I once had a couple of (non-lucid) dreams where I was running after a motorcycle or vehicle, and for some reason I was able to run fast enough to catch up, and then I would push myself forward against the vehicle with my hands to go even faster. Kind of weird.Originally posted by Inspirer

Next time I dream about my backpack I'll open it as soon as possible If I remember of doing it. But it didn't feel like there was something inside (even though it wasn't empty), if there was, it was soft and weightless.
