Thread: odd love dreams

It could be as simple as searching for love.

or....

it could have a deeper meaning using symbols. Since you were in snow, white is usually associated with purity. Maybe you feel naive in the romance department, and the girl stranger in a snowplow is unreachable. You could feel hopeless...

Another interpretation could be that the snow/arctic/cold represents coolness; kind of like "hey man he's cool" type cool. The dream might be saying that you try to show others affection, but your cool nature may make it hard for you to show your feelings. The coolness isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is preventing you from expressing yourself fully. It shows that your having problems communicating your emotions to this girl (or girls) and you feel that this inability to show your emotions is what is preventing you from finding love. Also, the fact that she was in the snow plow may show that there has been a girl (or girls) has been trying to get past the cool facade. Maybe there is someone in your life who has shown you affection, and subconsciously you like her in return, but you may not realize how much you like her or she doesn't realize how much you like her.

Another interpretation is that the cold, in it's negative form, represents hatred. It similar to the above interpretation, except substitute coolness for hatred. It may show that your a cold-blooded person. You try to show someone love, but that person is skeptical. she doesn't believe you mean it or doesn't take you seriously. Again the snowplow may show that there is someone who has tried push away the snow which means she is trying to get past your anger.


I like Je33ica's interpretation the best though; the fact that you are in the arctic may show that you feel distant from others. This girl maybe the one person who has made an attempt to get close to you and maybe that's why you love her. The arctic may also show that your are distant from your own emotions.

The later dream i had i saw this girls face and it was my sister. LET ME EXPLAIN!!! before you say ewwww.....
Me and my sister have not been able to talk alot, shes in vegas, im in georgia, anyway i went to visit my dad (and her) and we talked alot. I think we developed a bond.

That's great to hear. So the distance is more of a physical distance. It's also great to hear your not having a sexual relationship with your sister

I have had a dream somewhat like that too. I was with this girl I didn't know at all from previous experience, and I felt the greatest sense of love I've ever felt twoards her, and I knew she loved me(she showed it). I was with her for maybe half a minute and then I think I woke up.

I think your dream probably has less to do with the environment than these other people are telling you.
