      Question Reoccuring dreams

      Ok, I have had several reoccurring dreams but only a few have been life long. First one is where I am pleasantly riding a bicycle then all the sudden I ride the bike off a cliff and wake up in a panic right before I hit the ground. Second one is where I do a swan dive off an extremely high and beautiful waterfall; also suddenly wake up before hitting any water, not in a panic. What do these dreams mean? I have talked to many people who say they have had dreams similar to this.

      hmmmm, i dont see how this has anything to do with lucid dreams. maybe this should be in the interpreting dreams section.

      but i wpuld say that you must be depressed inside or something so your subconsious is killing yoursef in dreams.

      You may be on to something there. I have been depressed before. Never sucidal. I think at times I wanted to live forever. I have had these so many times that I almost know whats going on when they happen.

      take advantage of the reoccuring dream and become lucid! but i've had dreams where i fall off of things, not bikes, and then wake up with a jolt. and i'm not depressed. in fact, one time i dreamed i fell off a sidewalk. only 2 inches from the ground! and i woke up with a jolt!

      The bicycle dream means that you are afraid of losing balance and suffering great sudden loss. The dive off the waterfall means just letting go of your worries and feeling free.
