Thread: Same sex dream

ok so i had another dream about the woman I have seen in my building at work. I don;t recall ever having back to back dream with her included in the dream. And i do know this is the first dream or the first vivid dream in which i actaully interact and talk with her.


So I am at work but not in any place that looks familiar its a room that kind of big and its my desk and woman A's desk. we are working. outside of our area i believe its a regular work set up cube like place where others work. I seem comfortable in her presence but in the beginning we have no rapport. I spend time on the phone doing work stuff I go outside of my immediate work are to do some work stuff and some chatting with others in cubes and offices.Back at my desk there is a guy who appears out of nowhere he doesn;t work there but yet he is no out of place. I guess he is pursuing me romantically I am somewhat familiar with him but his dress and personality is very funny to me . I kind of laugh at him and not wit him. Woman A witnesses this but we have no converasation about it. Some time later i am sitting at work and i get a call from another woman - she seems to be a friend of a work friend. I find it strange in the dream that she is calling me. anyway we chat about nothing really then towards the end of the conversation she asks or mentions something about me giving her a ride home. I don;t recall giving her an answer. From this point I talk with woman A about this woman who basically only called me about a ride home because we are not friends . We laugh about it. I seem to avoid eye contact with her but i am pretty comfortable talking to her and my objective seems to be to get her to laugh. From there the dream jumps. its a bunch of us - me , woman A, 2 other women - one of which i believe is the woman who asked me for a ride and a man who appears to be a boyfriend of one of them. anyway we appear to be on this journey . i don't know about our destination but apparently it involves alot of walking. doesn't appear to be a dangerous situation at all - we are all laughing and having a good time. we are walking mostly indoors and alot of other people are around . its almost like a huge indoor mall type of place that we are meandering our way through. at some point we lose Woman A and we start to look for her - we split up and stay together to look for her. Fianlly she is found resting on a car outside of the place in which we are doing our journey. 2 women and the man find her - its bg parking lot . me and the other woman see them from a distance and walk towards them. Woman A is laughing - she thinks it funny. One of the women chews her out for walking off. She is very fit so we didn;t think she would be the one who needed a but apparently for wahtever reason she want to rest so she laid with her feet on one car and her upper body on another car- the middle part of her body was not supported. One of the women urges me to chime in and chew her out but i walk away in slight anger with Woman A that she would do that. we were all peaved but it was not a violent overly confrontational situation. Then I wake up.

lol! does it matter - its not like this is an extra busy forum . I posted under dream interpretation because thats what i wanted.

I think you have these dreams because of your curiosity about this woman. Sleeping with woman A (first dream) and not having sex with her probably means you're not interested in any other woman but woman B. Also, going about your errand without pants may imply that you're sexually attracted to woman B. Just my personal interpretation, don't take it too seriously cause I'm no expert or anything even remotely close to that!

Dreams about anyone are, in my opinion, more about our own desires than about that particular person. If you're dreaming about romance with another woman then there is a part of you that wants that feeling of being loved by a woman. It's entirely up to you whether you choose to gratify that desire with a woman IRL.

The dream is telling you something important about yourself. Sounds like it isn't necessarily sexual but is more about wanting to love and relate. The warning I would give is that another person can never be our dream lover. Not for long, anyway. Our dream lover is exactly that, a lover in our dreams.

Thanks for your input. I have no lovers in these dreams most times when i do have lovers in a dream they are usually with people i don;t associate in any way with sex. I think people in dreams don;t play the obvious role they are playing .

Try looking at all three women in your dreams , A-B-C, as a metaphorical representation of your own self, some specific aspect of your self. Dont see the images of them in your dreams as something other than yourself.

Now ask yourself what aspects of yourself could each one of those women possibly represent?

Yup. Everything we dream of is a part of our self. Often this will be a repressed part of ourself (i.e. we're not aware of it) hence we project it onto dream characters.

well dreams to me symbolise the everyday thoughts and dilemmas. They should correspond to actual thoughts and conceptual feelings. For instance think of conceptual ways in which you have been relating to your own sexuality. Perhaps then the dream means this

"I have been wondering about my own sexuality. I have certain feelings towards this woman at work. I know I like her yet I am confused. Can we feel these feelings similataneously. "

Overall I think your dreams show you wondering over what is acceptable behavior and what you feel is behavior that is natural. You are unsure about how to act and feelings about your sexuality make you awkward.
