Waves and Rot.

I have a problem with having dreams about beaches, and then massive waves come in. I usually go into a house or something just before the tsunami hits, but it never hurts me or the populace around me. These waves also take form of floods and EXTREMELY deep water. (waterholes that can house the empire state buidling, being caught in the ocean etc.) I don't have a fear of water, but I suppose the deep water can be my fear of heights kicking in, but what about the floods and waves?

Also, it seems that when I go to a place, sometimes I return to find the same place completely rotted over, or dead. I have two memories that are the most vivid of such things. one was a dream I had about a sort of Legend of Zelda type place, I had to go talk to a wise man or some odd and when I returned, complete deveastation to the town I was living in (In that dream, I related the devastation to some guy destroying the town).

The second dream was as vivid, but it was also lucid. I remember taking a trip to my aunt's house (it was apparently, but it was almost mansion like) and I use the washroom. I go to the zoo, have a fun time and return to the same washroom being completely overgrown with vegetation and decay. The bathtub was filled with slimey water with vegetation and several pointy toothed fish, the floor was completely covered with filth and vines and such. But the worst was in the shower (seperate). A big foamy web with a gigantic spider in the middle.

Could some body tell me why this is happening, Giant waves and near instant decay?

At the risk of sounding critical I interpret this right away as meaning that you are overwhelmed by your emotions from within (without consequence) , dependent on others (such as your aunt), and without freedom.

The beach is a common dream theme; it is the border between your rational side (the sand & land) and emotional (the water). The waves and floods are your overwhelment, and the deep water is a look into your subconscious.

The town is your social sense of community. The old wise man and the man who destroyed the town are likely real people in your life but are not themselves important. The setting is your fairytale idea of how life should be, and the rotted ness is waste and loss.

Your aunt's mansion is your dependency on her. The washroom is your attempt at self-renewal. Going to the zoo represents your lack of freedom. Coming back to find the washroom in ruin means this isn't working. The sharp pointed teethy fish is your subconscious insights and self-critism. The massive cobweb in the shower is entanglement.
I looked up spiders in multiple sources to get that nailed down good. It has numerous possible meanings but it seems to be most important part of the dream. It could be your felinity that spinned the web entrapping you in your rut of life. It could also be conflict with your aunt.

I suspect that you are just too feminine for your own good, and need to be more independent & strong because you are not fitting in with society as it is.

No, it's about half intuition and half look up. The first paragraph I understood right away while reading it.

Awesome, Thank you for your Freud- Like help. It is true, I am going through some annoying times where I'm going to be moving somewhere I don't want to go to. And I think that might be what my dreams are saying, but methinks the spider has something to do with my fear of big ol' spiders.
