      What kinda dream is this?

      Ok, I have had a few dreams where I am able to do things but I am not aware that it is a dream, I just am able to make choices and act upon them.. is there a term for this type of dreaming? I was just wondering if someone could provide me with something or somewhere I could go to find out more information about this.

      The dream I just posted was somewhat like that. It is posted in the dream interpretation forum if you would like to check it out. It might help you understand a bit more. There are many levels of lucidity. It sounds like you were experiencing a dream where you were aware enough to make concious choices however, it seems like a very low level of awarness. This is a begining and a step in the right direction. Have you had any Lucid dreams? I am new to this concept and have only experienced for myself a couple of times but I can tell you that it is fascinating.
      Whenever I look down, I miss all the good stuff. Whenever I look up, I just trip over things.

      I haven't experienced a lucid dream where I was able to realize that I was actually dreaming, just able to make choices... I'll be sure to check out your dream for interpretation... Like you, I am totally knew to the concept of lucid dreaming. Thanks for steering me in the right direction though

      It's called dream control when you can make choices like you said, but your still not aware it's a dream. If you were aware it is a dream then it is called a lucid dream.

      the dreams I usually have control of are ones in which I have hurt, injured,or killed many different beasts, aliens and people, so the poll tied into my query about dream control.
