Be sure to check these out before you read the responses. I want these to pull long abandoned images out of your distant autobiographical memories and shock you.

Wow.
Sesame street in the 70s was Hardcore. I mean, it almost gave me an epileptic attack, and I am not even epileptic.

You must be a mind reader. I thought about posting "Interjections", "Conjunction Junction", and the theme to "The Electric Company". I didn't want to put too much in the initial post. I'm glad you posted it in here.
Did you know that Morgan Freeman was one of the actors on The Electric Company? He's shown in that opening theme video you posted. Also, Gene Wilder was the voice of Letterman.
The second video I posted was from the Jazz Numbers series on Sesame Street. Did you recognize the voice? Grace Slick, from Jefferson Airplane/Starship, sang those. Very fitting.
I know what you're saying. I think that stuff might have a lot to do with how I turned out. Without Sesame Street in my childhood, I might be on a bingo or ballroom dance web site right now instead of this one. Well, not really, but I think quality art for chidren is good for the development of imagination.
.. hey .. wait a minute .. I ballroom dance (and I have been known to visit their websites now and again).

(oh, and I too was weened on Sesame Street, The Electric Company and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood!

Hey that is so cool! I remembered all the words! I was a little old for Sesame Street, but still watched them all of course because it came on before Electric Company.
Wow that is so weird. I had to go back and watch it again--that's him all right!
Thanks guys for the nostalgia, even tho you caused me to have a flashback.
P.S. I still occasionally get Schoolhouse Rock songs stuck in my head; thanks for reinforcing that!

Sorry, I didn't mean to dis ballroom dancing or bingo too much. You are on this web site and not JUST ballroom dancing or playing bingo. That is what I was talking about. Uh, uh, I have a lot of friends who ballroom dance. Yeah, and I, I, sorry about that.
Mission accomplished!![]()

That's funny because I didn't realize Morgan Freeman was there until I looked at it on Youtube. I saw him the opening credits, and I was like "Hey" back that up..LOL Yup that's Morgan Freeman. Haha...
I knew the voice sound familiar, I just couldn't put a finger on it. But after you mentioned it. It's a lot more clearer. Cool stuff. Thanks UM.
