    For Diablo Junkies: Torchlight

For all the other lost souls out there patiently awaiting the release of Diablo 3 (or even the long overdue Diablo 2 1.13 patch), I have a little something to tide you over and scratch that itch.

Torchlight, from the same people who made Diablo 1 and 2. It's Diablo play style at it's best, quick, clean and very well done. My only gripe is that it's a single player game.

You start the game with a pet (Cat or Dog), and these pets are great! They can carry just as much inventory as you can, use certain items, learn up to 2 spells to auto cast, and even run back to town to sell off your excess gear. You can also feed them fish to change them into different creatures with different abilities.

Also, once you've played out one character, you can "retire" it to give bonuses to the next characters you make. Plus there's no time wasted with the usual RPG grinding.

Only cost 20 bucks, and I highly reccomend it if you need a Diablo fix.

Yeah, I think I've played this one. I didn't play much, but from what I did play it seemed alright. But if you have the Diablo games, (especially Diablo 2+expansion as I do) there's really no compelling reason to play this one over them. It's p much Diablo minus multiplayer. But if you don't have the Diablo games, for $20 that's not a bad price. Then again, Diablo 2 can still be found new in stores for around the same price, so...

Yea, I'm playing this. It's pretty good except that mine crashes when I try to change any of the settings. Also, it has been confirmed that an update for the game will include multiplayer modes, so I'm looking forward to that.

    SinglePlayer only.

I am not a fan of the Diablo gametypes, so this was no different really. I am trying out all kinds of games now, so i gave the demo a try and run through with 2 different classes (all but the tank guy) and see if i like it. I can try it out for a little while, almost level 10 alchemist.
