Why would he beat Solid Snake (and damn near any fictional character about to be posted)?

Let's see:

When he was alive, he was a well-decorated CIA agent and assassin - versed in martial arts and various weapons.

After his death, he was given near infinite power, mystical abilities limited only by his imagination, a "living" suit of armor which is not only tied into his own consciousness but has one of it's own. A cloak with the ability to change shape, texture, length and, like his armor, has a mind of its own. (Spawn could, literally, stand there and watch, with his arms crossed, while his suit, chains and armor rip a room full of attackers apart, with ease.)
Though he's very agile, he weighs about 400lbs and has super-strength and durability. He does not need his internal organs, which are still in his body, meaning that you can frag his heart with an anti-tank shell and he'd still come after you. His armor and his own power grows stronger, the more souls he reaps. It also feeds off of the evil ambience of the world so, depending where he is, he could actually grow stronger just by surrounding himself by the right people. He had been "born" with the ability to battle both Angels and Demons and, since then, had been granted enough to even rival God and Satan (though beating them would be a long-shot).
He's basically a "lean, mean, ass-kicking machine" in every aspect of the phrase.

....and he has glowing eyes.

Scooby Doo

Well he a dog that can defy logic and gravity. Also he is with a team called the Scooby gang where they drive along solving mysteries. In his time he has caught various villian. He can also sniff the ground to locate people and can eat lots of food. These abilities make him better then solid snake because he can sniff him out and spawn because he has mystery solving abilities.
I forgot that when scooby eats scooby snacks he has infinite power so he can beat spawn with scooby snacks. Also he has a cool car so he doesn't need to fly.

Cloud Strife.

Slice, slice. Dead dog. On to Spawn.

Admittedly, Cloud is a big underdog in this battle. However, he came ready for a fight to the death, equipped with all the master materia and the final attack-revive combination. He will get beaten to a pulp repeatedly by Spawn, but Spawn just won't be able to finish Cloud off. After taking an unimaginably massive amount of damage, Cloud will, sadly for Spawn, reach his limit.

Cloud being about my 3rd favorite fictional character, (I'll save my second favorite for a later entry. ) for reasons of Good Form and Sportsmanship (and moving this thread along of course, heh) I'll call that match-up "fair enough."

Haha, thanks. It was certainly tough coming up with a conceivable way to beat Spawn. I wanted Sephiroth to fight him, but in the end I just didn't see any way the Best Bad Guy Ever could win.

On a side note, WHY IS NO ONE POSTING HERE??? Come on this is like the coolest thread ever.

Can you say Kamehameha? Yup A Kamehameha would abolish Cloud Strife. Not only the devistating Kamehameha attack, but Goku as you know has several special abilites from Instantaneous Transmission and Zanzoken (after image). Which means Cloud could never catch him, also Ki blast and Energy Wave attacks. Gokus Strength increases as he ascends to higher levels and he even has the ability to destroy entire planets So if you are on that planet Cloud you can just kiss your A** good-bye..lol. Cloud can never compete with Son Goku.





And if for some miracle you are still breathing, Then lets see how you stand against <span style="color:#FF0000">Super Saiyan 4 Goku.

HELL Yeah.

He would basically stand there and let a few blasts from Raiden&#39;s and Snake&#39;s Socoms pierce his skin and flatten up against his adamantium endoskeleton, the pain just enough to send him into an unbridled rage, before the wounds seal themselves closed with his accelerated healing capability. Then, out come the, equally indestructable, claws as Logan rushes in toward them like a freight train with catlike agility and a woodchipper attached to the front of the locomotive.

Jack Bauer.

Normally, Jack Bauer would have no chance against any of these guys. He&#39;s just a normal, red-blooded American, with no superpowers or special abilities to compare to the rest of this crew. He would get demolished by Goku, ripped to shreds by Wolverine, and completely and utterly eaten alive by Magneto.

BUT.

It has come to Jack&#39;s attention that Magneto poses a grave threat to America and the world as a whole. Jack does not like this. Jack likes things such as justice, equality, good character, and ice-cold lemonade. These things are threatened by Magneto.

Jack decides something must be done. The task is insurmountable, impossible, unachievable. There is simply no way Jack can beat Magneto, but he must try. He must stand up for justice, stand up for good character, stand up for ice-cold lemonade. He must defeat Magneto, even though there is no conceivable way to accomplish this task, if for no other reason than because it is the right thing to do. And he only has a day to do it.

But, hey, it&#39;s Jack Bauer. He&#39;ll get the job done.

Silver Surfer A true Guardian of the Galaxy. He would even wipe out Goku

Damn, can no one think of a fictional character that can defeat God? I'm slightly disappointed by this. In all the fiction and lore that we're all exposed to, no one has a favorite character that can rival the Almighty?
