I thought Jet Li was going to stop making martial arts movies.

I've got next Sunday marked on the calendar in my head. Definitely going to see this one!
Don't know how great it'll be, but the fact that both actors are getting a bit too old for the action roles, and both are very well known in martial arts being there first starring film together as a buddy duo type movie. It's going to be definitely one to watch just for those reasons.
So, I went and saw this movie yesterday. It was sweet. while the plot was kind of random at first. the fight scenes were terrific as expected and it wasnt a Jet Li and Chan buddy movie...they were more like willing to work together inspite of eachother. I was very impressed that they actually had Li and Chan land some solid hits on eachother, it made the fight incredible. I recommend anyone who wants some amazing action and doesnt take it too seriously to go see this for sure.

I saw the movie, Jet Li and Jackie Chan going Mano-a-Mano!

Loved it. I may just see it again to keep me in that kung fu action state of mind that I love so much!

It was great. I would give it an 8.5/10. It even had a few funny parts and Ne-yo, how could you think that that wasn't funny? That was a very good part.
I saw it last Friday, it was entertaining, but it had its fair share of lame scenes, and it was a tad bit predictable. But I enjoyed myself....

Just saw it today, loved it! I might have to buy this one on DVD when it comes out. Sure, parts were predictable, but that's not a big deal. The fight scenes were awesome, Jet Li and Jackie Chan are my two favorite martial artist actors, and they really kicked ass in this movie. Plus the girls were hot.
The movie was also a lot like a lucid dream, if you think about it. Overall, I'd give it an easy 8.5/10, maybe even a 9/10. I left the theater wanting to come home and get out my staff for a little practice. I was thoroughly entertained.

you have a staff too MoS? awesome! Just got back from seeing it. I can say i was fully satisfied.

This movie was hilariously horrible in absolutely everything it did. The acting was sub-par by the girl who plays Sparrow and the white guy... I mean, if you're going to put a white guy in an asian movie for the sake of appealing to Americans, at least take a good actor (like Nick Cage in Bangkok Dangerous). And that gang at the beginning? "Yo homez why yooz up in C-TOWN?" Yeah, great representation of our culture compared to Chinese culture. The fighting was yawn-worthy and the story/characters were obvious. And what also bothered me was that they spoke English in ancient China? I guess Hollywood had to do it in order to appease the masses who would have brain relapse if they had to read subtitles and watch the movie at the same time... All in all, a waste of money for me.
But hey, whatever floats your boat.
I saw it last weekend or so. It was okay. Not the best martial arts movie, but still fun. Basically landed on the "*exactly* what I expected" table. Better than Spiderman 3, but then again, that isn't a very high bar![]()
was most definitely a sick movie. made me want to start fighting in my LD's!
Spoiler for in response to ne-yo's spoiler:

sounds more like a bitter rant to me

I admit there was many aspects that i didn't like. But I did not let those things interfere with my enjoyment of the movie. I thought it was great and am probably going to buy it.
