Thread: .Hack games

Oh yes please slayer!!

Say, if it were possible, what character class from the series would you become?

Anyone who's seen/played the series can take part in this poll.

I would become a Werewolf, that would be cool!!!

Or even a wavemaster!

Wavemaster!!! DUH!!! I would make my character look as close to Tsukasa's as possible.

I would like to be one of the heavy swordsmen people, but not look really big and tough, but not weak either.

I would want to be a werewolf, but I would do best as a wavemaster (as a character, at least if I had in-game friends to use as tanks and healable meat shields). As a player, had I the choice, I would likely stick with twin blade because it offers magic and fighting ability, so I don't die when I inevitaby run out of SP (I use a LOT of spells, especially if you count stuff like Tiger Claw and Flame Barrage)

The reason I choose werewolf was because you're strong and also you could turn into a wolf which would be so cool!

But then again they wont have a lot of magic which is a downer as I like magic characters. So that's why I'd also picked a wavemaster as they have lots of magic and cool equipment. Though they do die a lot more easily >_<

only played .hack//G.U. Vol. 1 - Rebirth back when I was game testing.

never liked the series beforehand, but I figured it wasn't so bad. I'll play parts 2 & 3 down the road, though

Cool! The series isn't all bad. JET37L, Slayer, GestaltAlteration and myself have a ".Hack" rp going at the moment, if you want to join.

If you do, it is in the Arcane Arena sub board, then go to the ".Hack RP sign up", create your character and then wait for acceptance before joining the ".Hack 'The World' RP".

I went online searching for the .hack games...I found them for the ps2...wtf? the fourth one .hack, Part 4: Quarantine

costs $119 lol.

Wow that's a ludicrous cost for a video game!

Still the ps2 game are pretty good (in my opinion).

I want to play them but I don't know it seems like a lot of effort to get them since they aren't new anymore...I guess I could order them online but that would take like a week or more to get to me hehe.

Not to put you off or anything, but the games aren't easy either. A lot of effort is needed in playing them. Especially the last one Quarantine - a nightmare to complete.

I can do effort if it means sitting on my fat butt.

Yeah, but the very last mission on quarantine when you have to go to the dungeon Aura tells a rebirth will happen in is 15 levels long and majority of the monsters require data drain, which if your not careful kills your character before completing the mission.

I came close to destroying my computer when I did that mission.

*cheers* Finally got .hack//mutation! Two years I've been waiting, looking for it every time I had the money (and finding it when I was broke), and I finally got it. Yeah!

On the games, isn't it interesting that pretty much all of the characters throughout the series (plural) were related in some way? Shugo and Rena lived in the same apartment building as Kazu, and BlackRose... Never mind, it seemed like a lot more coincidences when I forgot Blackrose and Kazu were siblings.

I ordered those first two games for the ps2 will be here in a few days.
