Thread: .Hack games

You should know that the storyline is completely retarded and that there are way too many cut scenes.

I liked the Original .hack Games although I never got to find the third one and is lost in the abyss and without it I wont play the fourth, I've played GU but I liked it better as an Anime then a videogame

I'm pissed. I ordered the first two..and then...the first one was fun but...the second one got ruined by whoever the moron was that decided a case with a missing piece would be fine to ship a game in.

You know those little things that hold the game in place? Well one of the four pieces was broken off and so during shipping it came off and the very item designed to keep your game safe scratched the hell out of it while it came to me.

Damn I hate that.

My mom ordered Guitar Hero 3 and when we got it, it was still wrapped in plastic and was unopen, but when we try to play it, it says the disc is unreadable!

I went and exchanged it and am now playing the second one, however I will have to put it on hold since I have to fill out some college applications, and then tomarro I start some other things that will take up alot of time.

Jeez that sucks that your game got scratched, but I assume it still works fine?

They are ok...I don't like that I have to log out to view email but I can tell that is part of how they make some of the videos trigger (You have to logg out and in).

That happens a lot. If you have email, yu can expect a place you need to go to in iy and a cut scene when you log back in. And usually the fustration of finding out that you have to gate hack to get there.

Does everyone else find gate hacking annoying?

Yes I find it quite annoying. I am in need of two different virus cores to progress right now and I can't find them anywhere...which is funny because before I needed the specific ones a I need right now I was able to get them all the time.

I hate that when that happens. In .Hack//Quarantine you are required to gate hack a lot and finding the virus cores is so god damn frustrating!!

I'm finding these physical tolerent monsters to be a pain in the ass...they take forever and a day to kill.

Have you fought the strange monsters shaped like treasure boxes yet?
They crawl about on legs and have green mouth things inside the boxes themselves. You can't hit them and they cast confusion magic on you. Also not only that but they steal your magic everytime they bite you. I HATE them.

I've been able to hit the walking treasure boxes...the only thing they pose a problem for me to is the fact that they cause confuse every time I fight them, making my team mates kill eachother.

I loathe the confusion attack. I remember one time that got my entire party killed.

OMG after all that hell to get to the net slums fighting those damn physical tolerant bastards the main boss decided to "death and Rebirth" against me and killed my group with 1500 hp attack each...wtf kind of attack is that? I would have to be level 60 or something to withstand that.

Well I finished the second one...I don't own (and don't plan on owning any time soon) the third or fourth one soo...hehe.

On my first .hack game, I got to the last boss and I'm only level 20

I kept telling myself "How the hell did I make it this far at level 20?"

Oh that boss sucks...He is more difficult than the net slums boss imo. I just stocked up on resurrect and heal...and I was good to go.

Yes, I find gate hacking annoying (once, I was stuck for three months because I couldn't find a virus cire. I've been stuck in kingdom hearts: chain of memories for nearly four years, for a similar reason)
As for the imics and mimic upgrades, I hate them. Hate hate hate. They take forever to kill, and keep confusing my characters.

As for levels, I make sure to go at least five levels higher than any boss I lose against, oplus two levels each time I lose again, and at least three levels above any boss I defeat on the first try. (I don't lose often, except by bracelet infection, though I have been dying less since I started being more careful about that.)

I beet both kingdom hearts games...what are you stuck on?

number 3 or 4 must be pretty hard...

Kingdom Hearts = Best game, stary, and characters ever OR WIN!

Speaking of bosses you'll hate the boss after Macha in quarantine then. I can't remember what it's called at the moment but it has this wierd move where it inflicts 9999HP of damage to a character in your party killing them instantly . OMG I actually broke the shell of my PS2 because I kept getting beat by that move. My PS2 still works though so that's good.
