Hairspray
I thought this movie was very good. And I dont say that lightly to just any old movie out there.
I didnt like Zak Effron until I saw this movie, it shows that he DOES have some acting under his belt, and isnt just a pretty boy. :p
But it showed how difficult it was for people that were different to be accepted way back when. And how times havent really progressed much from then. People are still being outcasts, and are judged on how they look. But it shows that if one person took the stand, he/she could change everything.
I have no idea where I'm going with this, probably just saying go see the movie, it will definently make you laugh till you cry. (Plus, seein John Travoltra dressed up as a girl IS quite entertaining)

I know what you mean. It was a great movie. I got dragged to see it because my friend is a big Zac Effron Fan. Anyway, I was laughing through the whole movie. The music was great and yes... Zac Effron does have acting ability after this movie. I would definitely see it again. Though, when John Travoltra would start singing you just have to think that’s a man in there. Don't ask me why but I was waiting if we would actually see John Travoltra and Christopher Walken kiss. Thankfully no but there was a lot of ass grabbing to make up for that. Times were different then and the movie showed that in an amazing way.
