But anyways, I was pumped about the Sims 2 coming out, and when I finally got it, it took 30 minutes to load a house and was messing up my computer. Took it back and haven't played any version since.

Lucius and I played the Sims on a console while he was here visiting me. OMG we laughed so hard that we were crying. His Sim was working hard and stuff while my Sim macked on the entire neighborhood.

I accidentally adopted a child. When I realized what a pain in the ass it was, I left it outside on the lawn until Child Services arrived.

Omg yeah =P That was hilarious.. Its only fun when you play it together realy, else it gets boring real quick

i just like building the houses... then i bring in outside forces to occupy them and destroy them. but i haven't played for 4 years or so.

i spent hours playing the sims, i used to love building my own place, but i could never get my couple to get married, and the relationship was always rocky, story of my life that one!!

I can't wait to get sims bustin out, is that the one your talking about on two players, I once killed my whole brothers family in a swimming pool, my mom made her back yard into a grave yard, she had about 20-30 graves, my mom secretly opened my brothers game and made his wife pregnint with about 8 kids.

yes, i am talking about the two player one, only thing was, that whole split screen thingy used to give me a splitting headache, and the camera shots could sometimes make me nauseous...don't ask!!
my brother once totally neglected his whole family, just let them die on the street outside the house, evil bugger...

I played the sims like, years ago. It was okay, but then they brought out like ten expansion packs and it just got retarded.

i agree, sometimes a good game can be totally trashed by too many versions of the same thing.

You have to give them credit--they made a shitload of money off of it.

No kidding. Probably off eleven year olds who *had* to have those new items.

I laugh at their parents and their credit cards. The thought's gotta have run across mom's mind: "Didn't she just buy this two months ago?".

Yeah....That's why I download things. Hell, my parents don't buy all of the stuff I want....I work for that stuff. Plus, asking them for money makes me feel guilty. There's no way in hell I'd buy those expansions, anyway. They look idiotic. I did like The Sims 2, though. I was addicted to it for awhile.

What's all this nonsense about paying for stuff? I'm a starving artist... I can't even afford a new pair of socks. O_o

I can't download stuff, though my mom did pay for the expansions, all she did was build houses, I do get money once every 10 weeks for good grades, but I hate school.

now, i don't like downloading stuff, or surfing the net at home, because i'm terrified a virus will invade my computer!!
so i tend to buy things outright, and have done with it.

Try using an OS that doesn't get viruses. It makes things SO much easier to deal with.
