I saw Thank You for Smoking a couple weeks ago and thought it was very funny and sort of depressing in that it was so believeable.

Then I saw Inside Man. I thought it was very exciting and well-done, a good action/suspence flick. And also somewhat depressing because the depictions of corruption in high places was again, so believeable.

Next up, I'd like to see American Dreamz, anyone seen that??

Last movie I saw was ''Hostel'' at my friend's house yesterday. I was not 18 yet when it came out in theaters so I had to wait..Ahaha..

Overall it was just a good entertainment. Not the best horror movie I've seen either. Half the movie was porn and the other half was gore..

I'm assuming that was the old version. I first saw it in... oh... 6th grade, I think. I really liked it at the time, but then I also read the books. Even then I liked the movie for what it was worth, but there were some definite problems with it and the acting wasn't quite true to the book.

If you get a chance to see the ones that the Sci Fi channel put on, I would recommend it. They did an okay job of combining the 2nd and 3rd books together into one movie. It's about 3.5 hours long so I think they could afford to do that.

But I would highly, highly recommend the books to everyone! They're just too awesome to miss. Warning: not light reading. I read the first book for the first time in 6th grade (*recalls* shortly after seeing the movie) and it took me 6 months to get through. Now it only takes me a few weeks on average. The first book even has its own dictionary which one will constantly consult... and the first 100 pages are kind of hard to get through, but it's well worth it!

yeah i've read the books several times. i read some of brian herberts continuation books, but had to stop after two or so--he is nothing compared to his father and the filth he spews is only good a for a nice pang of nostalgia.

i saw those scifi channel movies, but wasn't that impressed. i thought it was not very appealing visually.

it is a very good movie and I would recommend it but it can be rather slow to the point of tedious at times
Life dreams and pain are all of the same thing in one way or another they are all unreal as they are existant they define the way you see things something very few can figure out

I liked it, but I think I was too fond of the origonal to really say that it was an awesome movie.... it was fun seeing it in IMAX, though!
