      Shrek (first one).

Been forever since I saw that one. I still like the 2nd one better.

Then me and merck are gonna have a Shrek-a-thon this weekend. Y'all are jealous.

I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith the other day. Angelina Jolie is officially the sexiest woman alive.

By the way, Christian Bale RULES, ever since he played as John Preston on Equilibrium. maaaan, was born to take the role as Batman.[/b]
Go check out a recent movie of his called "The Machinist", he had to lose almost half of his body weight to play the role. It's pretty crazy...decent movie too.

i saw phantom of the opera a couple days ago...

      music, costumes: excellent

      lipsyncing, plot: pathetic

the actors didnt mouth the lyrics enough. i do remember seeing one man mouth his lyrics WAYY over the top, like he was excercizing his jaw. on top of that, there were many times (i remember it was with two men) where the lyrics didnt match what they were lipsyncing! either they were off or the track was off. and i realized that the same melody for "mascarde" was used over and over, but they just changed the music... that got boring. and though i admit i LOVED the opera house, the graveyard appeared to be out of a theme park ride with an overused fog machine. and the movie was WAYYY too long!! the phantom was not deformed enough. yes, he was ugly, but he wasnt a shocking hideous monster. it appeared that the makeup artist use slapped a bunch of wrinkly purple clay on his face.

ok, so there are good things about this movie, but it isnt as good as some has said.

I totally agree about Phantom of the Opera but I thought I was just biased because I'd seen it performed live.

Last movie I saw: Mad Hot Ballroom

Wonderful movie if you're at all into ballroom dancing (I just wish I'd started ballroom at that age)!

Today I watched "The Village" (yawn ) and "Napoleon Dynamite" (I appreciate dumb but puhleeze ).

All I can say is thank God for NetFlix cuz I would have been pissed if I'd paid $6.00+ to see either of these at the theater.

Ok.. I do have a life but I love movies!!

Tai Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War = Great movie! It is an Asian movie with subtitles about an older brother enlisting in the Korean War to protect his younger brother. Be warned, it is violent but it has real heart!

Mr. and Mrs. Smith = I enjoyed this movie as well. It was a little unsettling at first to see a husband and wife physically fighting full out but at least she GAVE as good as she GOT!

      War of the Worlds.

      Absolutely mind-blowing.

The first 20 minutes is the most jaw-dropping sequence of events ever recorded.

I finally went to see Batman Begins and thought it was really good, on par with Burtons vision of Batman, but my only 'niggle' was that Gotham City didnt have the same sort of 'personality' like in Batman and Batman Returns. I enjoyed this movie, it had good depth and alot of story, the bad guy was also very cool.

I feel like I slept with my eyes open during this movie...meaning, BatMan...

Recently saw War of the Worlds. I came thinking it was about whole planets bumping and grinding with each other, but found out it was a similar concept about Aliens attacking Earth. jk.... I say that what reality delivered was just as wel good..

I was going to write Fahrenheit 9/11 untill I remembered that yesterday I saw Wild Wild West on TV which is a great parody in my opinion. Anyway, I really liked Fahrenheit 9/11 as I'm somewhat Anti-Bush and Anti-USA (no offence to anyone). It really was the best document I've ever seen

I had wanted to see Fahrenheit 9/11 -- until I read a TIME Magazine article that compared Michael Moore and his movie to Mel Gibson and his Passion of the Christ; two sides of the same outrageous propagandist coin. Bleh! Extremism to the left or right is still extremism and it's just stupid. Middle Path, people! Middle Path! Sorry, Hate...

I thought Wild Wild West was a little hokey, but it was pretty cool.

      Fellini's La Strada...amazing film.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Batman Begins, which totally blows away the other Batman films. Not that I didn't like Tim Burton's, but they were Batman through the Burton filter, this one is right in line with the true Batman. The other Batmans don't even deserve to be mentioned. In fact, they don't exist in my mind. What was I talking about?

I saw Wedding Crashers last night.

Very, very funny. Vince Vaughn is the man.

Strangely enough, the only low point is "Chazz".

The Fantastic Four: I enjoyed it.. special effects were pretty good.

March of the Penguins: All I can say is that if human beings had to go through HALF of what these penguins went through to raise our young, the human race would die out! It was not very long (a little over an hour) but it was very good!

I saw A Series of Unfortunate Events and National Treasure... dad made me get up and do something better with my life other than video games

National Treasure was pretty good, but the other one wasn't that great, mainly because they took out all the best parts from the book They were on Pay Per View... I don't get out much... The actors are pretty good for both of the movies, as well.
