Thread: Movies you don't like.

I HATE the notebook..... seriously I don't get how anyone could like it "Lets mumble and put an old couple in it and call it a movie"... Not to mention it's boring and predictable...
I honestly dont understand how ANYONE could like it.


though i should say... i'm very rarely a fan of thoes stupid girlly movies anyway

I'd have to go with the Star Wars prequels.

Fantastic 4.

I usually enjoy superhero movies. And I am a real fan of Smallville, etc.
But this movie was just too damn cheesy.

I didn't really like Ghost Rider, either.

Oh. I wasn't too crazy about Borat, either. It was pretty funny, but definitely didn't live up to the hype.

Well it's not the movies as a whole it's just certain parts. I don't like romance in any movie what so ever, I find no entertainment in watching romance, I don't want to watch another action movie about alternet demenstions or time travel (inless the whole movie is about time travel ex. Back to the Future) good example of those last two is ninja turtles. I don't like any movie who strays to far from what you'd expect. I don't like movies that have no special effects or anything out of the ordinary inless there movies that really move me emotionaly, and it barly stays with me even then.

Also I think this could be considered odd, but I really don't want to really hear about the back stories of characters, just put some guy on an island who has to survive and lost all his memory and it would be cool with me.

Oh too many characters is a pain too.

Good question. I'll have to go with Shindlers List. It was so crappy.

I liked Spider-Man 2 (mostly for the action, though), but I definitely have to add Spider-Man 3 to the list. That movie was just a disappointment.

Also, Blade: Trinity. Ugh. I can't remember who directed that, but I wanna slap the shit out of him.

One word: Armageddon. That movie really raised the bar for me on how offensively bad a movie can be.

The Mummy and especially The Mummy Returns. God, may the latter forever burn in the afterlife.

Does anyone else want to see a remotely accurate depiction of Egypt? (The glory of it, not the crap)

I know it's meant to be stupid and I can stand an offensive joke here and there, but the whole thing offended me! Essentially, I said to myself "If I see one more guy busting slob with another, I'm outta here..." And I was.

Blades of Glory was good, but I don't plan on wasing time seeing Balls of Fury. Will Farrel has run his course.

The only one that comes to mind at the moment would be "the dark crystle" that movie is painful to watch.

Bwah?? I LOVE that movie. Although I suppose the puppets can be a little off-putting...

As for me, ANY romantic comedy. Every one has the same, exact storyline:

Guy/girl meets guy/girl
Guy/girl fall in LURVE
Guy/girl pursues guy/girl at any cost (even though in real life, guy/girl would have given up a long time ago and found somebody easier to obtain)
Guy/girl lies about who they are in order to get guy/girl
Guy/girl finds out about lie and gets all pissy
Guy/girl does something retarded like run out into the middle of a baseball stadium to declare their love and guy/girl's all like, "Aww, I guess you're not SO bad"

It's just pathetically rehashed every two months into another sloppy, contrite, distorted version of love.

For me, Scary Movie and all their sequels plus, all these Epic Movies and so on. Just makes me wonder, where do these directors get all that money from capable of making more craps?

I have never seen Scary Movie and all their sequels but I have seen Epic Movie and Date Movie. Epic Movie was pretty bad, but I thought Date Movie was hilarious.

I thought Date Movie was terrible, I couldn't finish watching it. The first two Scary Movies were the shit though.

I find the Scary movies very dull. The humour is really bad, but some parodies are funny... Like the Architect "Thats gotta mean something" the Oracle with a completely packed cigarette tray or the news showing The Ring tape on air all night long. Everything other than that is just stupid jokes. I also don't like how the main character puts on a disturbed face every other second.

The matrix movies after the first one. And I really hated Eragon... And I'm not that big of a fan of I Am Legend. Only cause I read the book of both Eragon and I Am Legend.

I thought Rat Race was a terrible movie.

1- Alvin and the chipmunks or whatever that was. I have't seen because I would go crazy if i did. I hate those little chipmunks. I wanna squish them untill they explode.
2- AVPR (Aliens VS. Predator Requiem) ok, the second part had NOTHING to do with the first one. In AVP the people on earth were kind of evoluated the atmosphere made you think the movie is happening in the future or maybe in our days. In AVPR, the atmosphere is in 80ish. The movie has no point. It's just sensless. And it's also disgusting, specially the part where the alien eats a pregnant woman. Not to mention that in every Alien or Predator movie there was at least one famous celebrity. In AVPR there's ppl i've never seen before palying in movies.
3- The pirates of the carabian 2 ( i think i spelled it wrong...) It was just stupid.

Anything with the word Disney associated with it since 2000. I liked the Lion King and Aladdin and stuff like that, but the mass produced bullcrap they're cranking out every flippin month makes me want to puke! Seriously, when Walt Disney died, did all of the creativity go with it?

If anyone needs me, I'll be in the Angry Dome! Grr....

Any movie that uses concepts like Time Travel without taking it seriously and at least attempting to get the logic right. ie. The Lake House.

Well prepare to cringe, as there is a 3rd mummy movie in the works.
I believe its being written by the creators of Smallville.
I liked the mummy movies Accurate or not, very entertaining to me.
