Queens of the Stone Age rocked my @%^ing socks off!

Wow. That's all I can say.

How many QOTSA fans are in here?

That was the single most intense concert I've ever been to. QOTSA are incredible live. If their music (hard rock, metal) appeals to you at all, I highly recommend checking them out. You will not regret it.

Has anyone else here seen them live?

I can't say I've heard ALL of thier music, but from everything I've heard, I would definitely not consider them "metal". pop rock is more like it.

Pop Rock?....ok....you definitely haven't heard all their music.

Smashmouth is Pop Rock, Third Eye Blind is Pop Rock.

Admittedly, metal might be a stretch. But definitely hard rock.

Get the songs 'Song For The Dead', 'Six Shooter', 'First It Giveth', 'Millionaire' and crank the volume.

Paperdoll is right. They're more like semi-stoner pop rock.

You guys have obviously only heard the singles they play on the radio. And if that were all I'd heard, I would agree.
