Thread: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

It's not as complicated as you would think. I suggest starting off as a soldier though and leveling up automatically (selecting only, for example, force powers). Once you have a better grasp of the game though, then you should dive in--you might regret some choices latter if you don't know what you're doing...

However, a general tip I give is: Don't give much into intelligence. Feats aren't as important as you would think (intelligence governs how many feats you receive, incase you didn't know), and honestly, the real meat and potatoes is in strength, dexterity and wisdom.

hack and slash thats how i don it beat the game in less than 5 days

I assume you're not far into the game yet. (you playing KOTOR1 or 2 btw?) your main character will, suprise suprise, become a jedi. With a lightsaber. so invest in melee skills. Try to max out feats instead of getting one of everything, you can only execute one move at a time and variety is not that big of an issue if you whack an enemy in one slash. Oh yeah force wave or paralise are two really neat powers to have against groups.

Sadly enough I have had this game for at least 6 months and I haven't played it more that 4 times. Right now I've been occupied with Fable and Doom 3 so I guess my Halo 2 skills will gradually degrade. Oh well. Fable is really good though.

Its KOTOR2, i cant seem to 'get lost'in the game, ive played it a few times for a few hours, but i find its boring and slow, im used to playing games like Doom, Halo etc. They are more action based, this is like playing as an OAP.

I found it but it was confusing, i just want to walk over a gun thats on the floor and become equiped (lol).

I was thinking about getting Fable on the Xbox, is the story as good as everyone says?

Well, guess RPG's arent your thing then. And KOTOR2 aint much fun anyway, KOTOR1 is way better.

Im not a fan of the Final Fantasy series, RPG's stuff like that.

Prefer games that are easy, games when you can just run around and kill things (lol).

Fav game i every played was Devil May Cry (great game).
