At first there was only one photo, now there are two. They are obviously being added in reverse chronological order, and can be dragged around the screen - there must be a clue hidden in that!

In the trailer, it is very clearly heard "It's a Lion... it's huge!"

Since this is a J.J. Abrams project, and he bases much of his work on religion, I would concentrate on the lion representing jesus - which is also done in the Chronicles of Narnia.

A religious theme is also apparent when you cross reference the time of the first photo to the bible - Matthew 12:36 - "I tell you, on the day of judgement men will render account for every careless word they utter".

Seems like an interesting project to me.

I don't want to span it out to religion but a lot of things do fall in to place on that level and it makes it a lot more easier. We'll see what happens. One things for sure (cloverfield) or whatever they are going to call it, is definately gonna be one unique film. One to keep an eye out for thats for sure

Where is your proof? You can't say "that's wrong". It's subjective. After listening repeatedly, my personal opinion is that there is a definite "N" sound, not "V". Plus, logically, "It's a lion" makes a lot more sense than "It's alive". Of course it's going to be alive. That would be senseless dialogue.

Well, as I said, J.J. Abrams is religious himself, and most of his work has religious themes.

I just noticed something in the picture of the guy drinking the glass. It could be a clue. For one thing, the guy giving him the drink doesn't look very happy. Also, look to the far right of the picture. There is a girl (similar to the girl in the other picture). She is licking her lips staring at someone or something. It's almost like she knows something that the others don't. Right below her there is a digital 5, S, or 8. Almost in the style of the "24" trademark.

The reason I am posting this because we know that these were not just random pictures. They have to have a meaning and since it is from a movie set, each person probably was told how to stand and where. Not just incedently. What do you think?

The words WELLNESS is made up of small pictures. Anyone witch a magnifier can gather clues there.

I have a feeling you guys are reading too deeply into this thing. They wouldn't give decent clues anyway at least for another couple of months.

This is not the first time we bumped heads on a subject and once again I have to prove you wrong Think the guy yells out "Lion" is ridiculous and idiotic. They hear thunderous roaring and this is a "normal world" that this seems to be taking place in. The assumption would be seismic activity, meteors, or terrorist attack explosion. Someone saw the area where the roars came from and naturally says it (meteor, roaring exploding thing) is alive. Frankly, how fvcking dumb do you think Paramount is to hype the hell out of a movie with a big lion? A LION? ...

I saw that too, and found it interesting. Gotta say, the way they did the trailer sure grabbed my attention.

I heard It may not even be a film. It could be something for 'Lost'.

When I watched the trailer, my money was on godzilla as soon as I heard the word "Japan".

It can't be godzilla because the studio dosn't have the licencing.

Oh? Meh... Godzilla is kind of stupid anyway.

I have no idea what the hell it is, then. (Yes, I had to say that).

I just saw the trailer in the theaters (I got there late, the first time, and had missed it, but I saw it on the computer, a few days afterward). To hear it in the theater was awesome. That roaring sound is fucking terrifying, in itself. I can't wait to see what it's all about.


And..for the record...I'm pretty sure the guy said "It's alive." ...not "It's a Lion." It neither makes sense that there would be a giant lion attacking New York nor that they would shroud the entire commercial in secrecy, 6 months before the release of the movie, but actually tell you what the creature is.

I read, on some article, that the monster was being referred to, for now, at least, as "The Parasite." I have no idea what that's supposed to look like, though.

I remember the first time I saw that trailer, It was nuts... If they are gonna do the movie in camcorder that will be really cool, and yeah that roaring sound is damn terrifying. Although when the sound went off I thought it was screaming something like Rob. Cause of the dude in the house.

If the monster is called 'The Parasite' then I'm thinking some sort of bug type creature... first thing I can think of is like a deformed arachnid of some sort.
