JULY 3 2007
16 Days left.
This is by far going to be the blockbuster of the summer. I cannot wait to see this movie. This is what I've been waiting for all this time and now it's finally here. For those who grew up in the era of the cartoon, let's talk transformers shall we? Who was your favorite? Who was your least favorite? What are you expecting from the movie? and anything else you'd like to throw in. As for me, I just really want to see Big Freaking Robots. I really don't care how far the plot veers away from the original, as long as it looks good. I haven't been as Hyped up about a movie since the Matrix, this is sure to be a treat. This movie has huge potential to rank up there with the likes of Star Wars. If anything I think it would rank in the top 5 for highest gross amount world wide. Think Im reaching? We will see.

My son loved Transformers and Lord knows I bought him his share!
I think I'm looking forward to this movie more than he is!
.
Here's a slightly "different" trailer:

Well tomorrow is the day and you guys know exactly where I'm gonna be. Yup you guessed it Regal Cinemas. :p Merlock that trailer was soooo sweeett! Man I tell ya this movie has a dozen trailers, and I was getting worried until Micheal Bay mentioned that none of the trailers comes close to the action that this movie will deliver, besides no one can make bigger explosions that Mike Bay. This movie is sure to deliever a punch like no other. As the infamous words of Optimus Prime - "Autobots Transform and Roll-out!"
My favourit was Bumble-bee. I hope they'll include him. I wonder if they'll explein the mystery of where Optimus-Prime's trunk goes when he transforms to a robot, and how it always comes back.

Hahah, if I recall the old cartoons, it was usually left behind. The truck rode out from under the trunk and transformed into Optimus. Though I might possibly be confusing that with something else.
But who knows. We shall see!

Hahah, it was an 80s (or maybe 90s...don't recall) cartoon. And, really, all together just a cartoon - objective realism isn't the largest concern.![]()

Yup those pic's of Optimus Prime as a Peterbilt Truck and Megatron as a new Cybertronian Spaceship, are from the movie. You know Optimus Prime has already meet President Regan. I wonder if they are going to impliment this scenerio in the movie.
Maybe Optimus will meet Bush? hmmm.![]()
Saw it last night, 8pm showing. Was like 4th in line, got the best seat in the house! It was a lot of fun, and the crazy "opening night" theater crowd made it even more fun.

I saw this movie and thought it was just okay. It was way too long!!

This Movie Was Awesome!! Lots Of Fun!!
An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules.

The movie was amazing but the score sucked. For example, the fight sequences were well done, but the music seemed stuck between "campy" and "epic"; it never flowed right.

Yup Transformers was everything that I've expected it to be. 2 hours and 40 minutes of heart stopping action and just enough comedy to make the transistion smooth. This is the blockbuster of the summer. Now Im interested in the trailer that appears before the movie so-called "cloverfield" 1-18-08. Whatever that movie is going to be, it's definately caught my attention with how it's been marketed so far. If you haven't seen the Transformers yet and you're waiting on responses of people who have seen it here. I definately suggest you go see the movie and make sure you're in the theatre during the previews of upcoming movies because you don't want to miss that J.J Adams Trailer for Cloverfield![]()
So, while I did have a LOT of fun during this movie, there are a few aspects of it that are a real thorn in my side. Most of these things would piss off Bill Engvall and make him give Michael Bay a "sign"
1)
- We need to hide the Allspark somewhere for minimum casualties!
- What about the hugely populated city?
- Bingo!
Here's your sign.....
2)
- There are 5 of us, and only 3 decepticons left... we need to get the Allspark to that helicopter... what do we do?
- ...Give it to the human who's the most out of shape!
Here's your sign......
3)
- I am a highly-decorated presidential assistant person... On Air Force One, the most highly-guarded plane in the country. Oh look, a random radio that clearly doesn't belong here... Instead of reporting it (hey, it might be a bomb), I'll just take it downstairs to the top secret server room (a.k.a. where we keep the ice cream).
