I thought it was pretty good.. it was about saving the world! YAY!

Yeah, I feel you. It was lame. You didn't feel attached to any of the characters, and the story line was boring and trivial. The whole movie felt like it was going to lead up to a part that was actually good, but it didn't. I don't know why people think this movie is so good.

Oh and the black robot died first.

One thing I must say...

It was freaking loud in the movie theaters...and somehow, my grandma was able to sleep through half of it...

Exactly, it was that type of movie. Thats why I think it was for a more immature audience. Or one that has their childlike mind still intact. It was a little kids movie to me. It felt like a typical,dumb, fantasy, action packed, shootem'up little kids targeted flick.

I hope part 2 has a more mature feel and look to it.

Ha ha, it's still my favorite sci-fi action movie of all time. It's going to take a lot to beat it in my book. Have not seen anything yet this year that even comes close to it. Except maybe "The Dark Night."

And I'm still waiting to see "Iron man."

Now thats a great example. The Dark Night was a mature feel and look to it. Hell yes. Now Transformers feels like one of the last movies of the old batmans movies, like Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. See what I mean?

Iron Man was really good . Will not disappoint. Unlike Transformers

Hell YES! They're freakin robots that can shoot anything and disguise themselves as objects (This case cars). They could easily come up with something better for them to do than talk to teenagers about helping them save the world. I would prefer the robots like the one in the "Iron Giant" to be more awsome. And that robot had feelings!!!!!!!! WTF!

Haha, I don't know if that'd go good with Transformers or not, like a dark dark mood. I could see a darker mood though, it would make it better.

Well, he meant it's more childish. Like the earlier Batman movies were super kiddish and now todays Batman movies have a darker feeling to them. He wanted Transformers to have a darker feeling to it, as in Megatron and the other Decepticons (or whatever) killing innocent people because they wanted to.

Haha. I know. I was just giving him shit.

But yeah, I agree in that it could have been less "kid oriented," but so was the cartoon, in its prime. We can't always expect everything that we grew up with to grow up with us - not right off the bat, anyway. It wasn't quite lollipops and gumdrops, which made it acceptable for me. I thought the story was decent and the action was awesome (though they could have given the bots a little more personality, throughout the movie), but - even with its flaws, I often find myself rolling my eyes at people who start going off about how much it sucked; how it's the worst movie ever; and how much they hate Michael Bay, which it usually all comes down too. Heh.

Yeah, true. I liked the movie myself, I thought the plot was pretty awesome! Action was also good. Not to mention sick graphics!

The only thing I hated about the movie was that little bastard robot! I forgot his name, but he took the form of a radio and a cellphone.

soundwave, and yes he was annoying...also a far cry from the actual soundwave of old. I thought this movie was suppose to be for kids though? I did like it but the fact it had a little kids feel was ok cause I thought it was suppose to be for kids

That was Frenzy, actually. Soundwave is supposed to be in the sequel. I really hope they get him right, and from what I heard, they're going to try to make him pretty close to the original (particularly his trademark voice).

And trying to pass off Frenzy as Soundwave (which a lot of people thought they were doing at first) would have kick-started the Apocalypse. Lol. I'm glad they were smarter than that.

oops, my bad you're right. and yes that did piss me off but now that that is cleared up I think that it is a great movie! for little kids or not

But I do imagine two being on the bad side..But hey what are we gunna do?

Transformers was an excellently crafted piece of quality entertainment, a blessing to the film industry if you will.

I was enthralled by the magnificent scripting and the shear quality and showmanship of the whole thing.
