Assad doubts existence of al-Qaeda
KUWAIT CITY (AP) - Syrian President Bashar Assad said in an interview published Sunday that he doubts the existence of al-Qaeda, the terror group blamed for the Sept. 11 attacks and recent strikes in Saudi Arabia and Morocco.

"Is there really an entity called al-Qaeda? Was it in Afghanistan? Does it exist now?" Assad asked, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anba.

Such speculation is popular among some in the Arab world who say Washington has manufactured or exaggerated the threat posed by al-Qaeda in order to paint Muslims as dangerous.

There is no Terrorist Organization Called Al Qaida

…Nese Düzel from Radikal (a Turkish newspaper) asked this question and more on Al Qaida to Mahir Kaynak, a former academic and a former intelligence officer. He has suggested different and debateful views, which will be summarized in this article.

Further more he argued that there is no Al Qaida. According to Kaynak, Al Qaida is the name of the operation carried out by an intelligence service, which is CIA…With this operation an anti-Islam front among the peoples of the world is tried to be created.

It is true that the guiding principle of a Secret Cell is to preclude all 'Organizational' trappings, where the idea is to maintain as much isolation as possible between the separate branches. Therefore it always surprises me when the USA makes such an issue of capturing the 'Leaders', because, if they had done their jobs correctly, they would indeed know almost absolutely nothing of the Cells and their operation.

The reason the USA should know this is because Al Quaida was effectively created by the USA, its CIA. Bin Laden was a paid agent of the CIA who was brought in organize a sort of Foreign Legion Resistance to the Soviets in Afganistan. He was given training materials, one particular pamphlet was instructions upon how to establish an Organization, or rather a Non-Organization of Secret Cells -- a force of Insurgent Fighters who would be secure despite the capture and interrogation of any of its members -- only individual Cells would be vulnerable, since no Secret Cell Member should ever know the tactical details involving the operations of any other Cell. I've heard that even today Al Quaida still works with texts of their original CIA documents. Effectively, Al Quaida was and perhaps still is a CIA Operation. As has been pointed out sufficiently, the existence of Al Quaida has only furthered the Agenda of the Powerful Elites in Washington. and it must be remarkable that America's Spy Satellites that can read newspaper headlines on a cloudy day, can't find Osama Bin Ladin -- a six foot three Arab whose face is now as recognizable as any media super star.

Back on topic: Bin laden allso hates Saddam. Bush put it like they were bud-buddies. And allso the 'laden'-family allso have contants with some government-monkey or something.

Al-Qaida and bin laden are used by america as tools to give terrorism a face. It's hard to put the country behind a war without a clear enemy.

In reality Osama and Saddam had nothing to do with each other. Yet america just started a war againt iraq after 9-11. This is why 'bush planned 9-11!!11!!!one1!!1!1' doesn't sound like Total bullcrap.

If we learned anything from World War 2, it's that people can be quite easily dooped on a massive scale by a skilled manipulator. Hitler exposed the human weakness of gullibility and blew it up to biblical proportions. Therefore, I have no problem believing any of this... it certainly makes sense on a lot of levels. It'll be interesting to see how this war ends, and what will become of its masters. I hope it does end. soon.

I am a little heated about this dicussion. My heart goes out for the victims of 9-11. I will never forget the pool of tears I cryed that day and the years after. However this war is not about 9-11 anymore. I live right next door to our beautiful NSA(sarcasm). Everything I do is seen. Its not me being paranoid it is real. My step mother worked there for years and she till this day will not utter anything anti government. Let allow anti president. The truth comes down to one fact. We were suppose to be at work with war against Al Qaida we have made no progress at all with that. Why? Because the government sees it in there best interest to pursue other matters. I have more to say about this later. I can truthfully say I've said enough bad about the government living near the president and NSA that I almost know there is a tap on my home and cell line. In fact almost 99% sure. I have my reasons. I will say more later about how I feel.

The best part is this terrorist plot that was foiled FOUR YEARS AGO, that Bush just told us about now. Whether it actually happened or not, he's using it to help keep support for the Patriot Act. Why didn't he tell us this when it had actually happened? They use these things the way they want to.
