Very interesting social experiment. Quite illuminating.

I think I agree with most of what was said here, except I don't think corporations are to blame. Capitalism is a good thing and is the only dam we have right now against the surge of totalitarianism. I think there exists an illusion that corporations are trying to control you because the corporations have been hijacked, to varying degrees, by the governments. The governments are behind this mass manipulation. The corporations are just unwitting hosts to the signal.

Drewmandan. I'll have to write this strategy down it's a mighty innovative one. But easy once you know how it's done.

I'll call this trick: "Agreement combo.With Government/Corporation blinder"

Description: Blaming governments as bad and corporations as good and playing them against each other in a conflict to distract the seeker from the real cause encapsulating target in new box view"

Hope I didn't make your motive too transparent though. Since want to keep this exciting. Try to minimize the extremes of belief in governments being good and corporations bad. If you exaggerate the polarization too much you appear less legitimate considering most people don't have this much faith in either when they are used in this particular system of control they are experiencing. From experience most know of both as inhibiting. So use this knowledge in the combo.

Suggestion:
"I agree very illuminating Ranma. Governments are sometimes bad or good, Same as corporations". Then go on with your agreement blinder Combo.

Extra tip: Most know that corporations have a complete Monopoly over the governments in terms of finance. State instead that corporations hi-jacked the governments for added realism.

Wow, I wasn't aware there was a catalogue of these things. Or did you just make that up? But I'm not really sure how you can possibly see corporations alone as any sort of threat. True, governments can use corporations to do much evil, but I don't see how corporations can be inherently evil.

Consider, for a moment, what the world would be like if there were no governments but there were corporations.

You could:
-live anywhere
-work anywhere
-educate children in any way you see fit
-own anything, save perhaps other human beings
-buy any product, any drug, any new-age natural food crap you desire
-pay no taxes whatsoever
-change how your community works using the greatest power of all: money

Remember, there are no governments, which means:

-no 'race to the bottom' exploitation of the poor. Why? The poor can always leave an impoverished area because there are no borders and with no taxes travel is dirt cheap. Also, with no citizenships any human can apply for any job anywhere on Earth. And with no tariffs and subsidies, the impetus for 'race to the bottom' off-shoring would be lessened anyway.

-no wars. War would be meaningless if borders didn't exist.

-research into all forms of medicine would be allowed, including stem cell and cloning-derived therapies for terminal illness

The entire legal system called 'the law' is the terms and conditions of a private corporation. All those things you said were possible can be changed or restricted at any time by that law.

You agree to live under that law as part of that private enterprise every time you say yes to the question: "Are you a citizen of the united states."

But this strategy works globally, don't be fooled. What do you do when you're on a court? You play games. What is a court for and what does the judge of a game do.

When I turn on the television not only do I feel like I am in 5th grade again. But the entertainment is also very trivial in the way that even though it is 5th grade news and politics. And 5th grade neibours and home and away. And 5th grade movies and documentaries. Even at that 5th grade level, it's still propaganda and distracting from reality at the same time. Entirely a rubbish box transmitting garbadge.

Everyone should have their own channel. A more integrated system better than the internet is basic.

First of all, corporations are bound by law to maximize profits. It's illegal for them to do anything that interferes with making profits for the shareholder.

Second, corporations have no personal responsibility. Corporations have all the rights individual citizens do. If they break the law, there is no one to be held accountable. There's no one to do jail time. At worst, all they face are fines. Unfortunately, the profits they make from breaking laws are are so much greater than the fines levied against them, they just don't care.

this thread isn't as crazy as it could be, tv's mind controlling people? you haven't gone far enough into the deep ocean of insanity there are people who believe that tv's can mind control people, not by the images they project, or what's being said, but by the frequency of the tv alone. that the frequency tv's are set to directly influence our brain whether or not we want it to.

the insane conspiracy goes onto to say that aliens channeled their thoughts into those who created tv's, so that an entire generation would be mind-fucked. *BABY BOOMERS, THANKS A LOT*

the same is not true for the frequency on a computer. so we can watch the same news on tv, or read about it online and feel different about it. so the very same dark evil alien forces that want us to be lazy and watch tv, dislike the internet.

That really isn't what I am talking about. but it sounds like it would make a good movie.

masses are "brainwashed" every day supposedly... what about those terrorist camps where from a young age kids are taught that the road to eternal royalty is self destruction and eventually a dramatic suicide. A majority of how that works is a simple case of being brought up to think no different, but humans have a built in survival instinct which tells us to stay away from harm, the terrorist organisations break away that instinct and encourage them to hurt themselves.
