I just saw this little documentary about Henp (click).
I thought: oh great, some lame stoner shit. But actually it is mostly about hemp as material for books, sails, clothes and other important products. Really interesting that the first bible that was made with that pressing technique, that revolutionized the spreading of books, anyhow the first bible made that way was made from henp
So was the Declaration of independence. And the American constitution. Hemp Hemp Hemp.
Why did I never knew about the importance of hemp? I did learn about how Europe was all about trade, slaves and spices and shit. But Hemp has been a hugely important product for millennia!
Pretty interesting.
Well I think there are few people on this forum close-minded enough to be against marijuana (that doesn't mean doing it yourself by the way). Yeah, the editor of High Times magazine was going on and on about the uses of hemp paper throughout history - which reminds me that I still need to edit the audio from that debate that I went to, so I can post it on the weed thread that was started a while back. I forgot all about that.
