Thread: Plurality Voting

I like the idea of Range Voting, I hope it becomes the standard voting system. Maybe then, America wouldn't be as much of an embarrassing country to have to call home. Our current political system makes me want to emigrate.

Our current voting system is a joke, the biggest joke ever played on a mass of people.

That, or people need to start actually voting for who they want and not the lesser of two idiots. If you buy into the line of thinking that you have to vote for an idiot because thats all you got, your in serious trouble.

People actually want either Obama or McCain. Hence they have supporters, plus 200,000 brainwashed dipshits showing up to see Obama in Berlin. It's not like they actually want to vote Green or Libertarian or Constitution Party and feel their vote wouldn't matter. They couldn't care less about these parties and their issues; they're perfectly happy voting for McBama, more government, more war and more cash blown into the asses of bankers and CEOs.

This makes little sense. Although I assume you mean they don't want to vote for a party that they favour since they think their vote won't count (due to lack of votes from others). In this case the voter is to blame, not the government by any means...

Or they perceived them as less able to act as leaders on behalf of the USA. Perhaps their perceptions and choices are more viable than your own.

If you vote for mccain or obama your vote still doesn't matter. They are both puppets. regardless of wich one you vote for the same thing will happen. Your rights will be taken away, slowly but surely. And we're still gonna bomb iran either way.
I'm thinking about voting for ron paul but it does seem like a waste of time.
