Thread: Question Reguarding Salvia

Well I've never done it, but this guy on youtube named reecejones87 (who is basically the embodiment of this forum) went into a huge trip he describes in a video, and he normally uses 10x. Also, for just hallucinations try eating it instead of smoking. It is a watered down version of the usual but lasts longer. BTW, is there an age limit for Salvia?

First of all, get something less concentrated, 10x or even 20.
How are you smoking it? I think a bong filters too much, so try a pipe if you aren't.
Try meditating before smoking it. Listen to some music, sit back, hit. If you don't hallucinate, you may have to get something more powerful, but 40x is a bit much if you're just starting out. Some people don't hallucinate, they just laugh. Sort of like weed but less mellow.

Yea, I think Reece Jones said he used a pipe.

And my question still stands about the age limit.

Oh, I didn't see that. It's 18, but it's not hard to get. Also, it's illegal in some states, but others sell it in head shops. You can also grow your own, but you have to know how to extract it.

My first Salvia trip was with 20x or 30x I think. The smoke was pretty harsh, so I didn't get a full hit. Coughed out most of what I had inhaled. But the trip was memorable enough. It didn't get full into a trip, I stayed in a state of limbo at that point just as you're getting into it.

My experience was like I was in 100 places at once. Every thought that crossed my mind, every thing I thought about became a world I was in. If a thought crossed my mind about my family I'd be at home, but I was simultaneously experiencing the world I was really in as well as a hundred others. I felt like I was spinning and I felt like I was hurdling through a tunnel of some sort, that I was rolling in every direction constantly, but I didn't see anything except the world constantly changing from one scenario to the next every time a thought crossed my mind. I felt like I was trying to be pulled into each world. I felt like the real world was trying to hold me to it while another tried to pull me into it, like the forces of gravity of each world holding me to their own ground. I felt like I was in all of them, but none of them at the same time as if I was in some sort of limbo or 'transfer' state.

It was a surreal experience.

I would drive down to a smoke shop/head shop /whatever floats your boat.
and get it. But I have never bought it online, I wouldn't know.
It's normally around 10.00 dollars/6 pounds a gram for 5x and 12/7 for 10x which are good to start with.

Yah, that's why I asked him if he was holding the hit. Sounds like you tripped a bit. It's probably better if you don't have a full on trip, they can turn out to be bad trips and that sucks. It's like LSD, except shorter amount of time. It's not really a party drug, and it actually should be the opposite. That's why some states are illegalizing it.

you can't be serious. something like salvia should be treated with respect and used in a very mellow setting - definitely not a party drug... is this the actual reasoning behind why some states are making it illegal??? if so, that's fucking retarded because it goes against all the meaningful potential uses of psychoactive plants

that doesn't sound right at all - i haven't read up on this for a while, but i'd expect that it's really the result of a bunch of concerned moms and conservative legislators just freaked out a bit about "the new danger to your kids!!"

I meant it's not a party drug, in fact it should be the opposite (a meditative spiritual drug) I meant that kids that use 100x and then post their trip on youtube and they're doing some stupid shit like driving a car because they think it's a rocket ship.... On my first trip I was 100% gone. My reality never even existed.

But I agree about using a pipe. I was using a bong the first time, and it kicked my ass but I had a huge hit (i have a good bong which makes it really smooth) and was already high on Kush. And when I tried a second time it was like 50% dulled down. And when I used my pipe and I barely smoked any it put me on the edge of a trip. Though I couldn't hold it in as long since it was pretty rough.


Also, I don't like it when people abuse Salvia. This drug is like.. sacred Treat it with respect They shouldn't illegalize it.. Stupid youtube kids...


And as for buying it, I'm 16. I just got my 18 year old friend to go and buy it from my local head shop. I also found a lot of trust-able online Salvia Shops. Their prices are a bit higher, but they will also flavor them!

But I'm ganna try Salvia again this Sunday full on and hopefully I will get a completely different trip.

Where do you live?

Southern United States. And I know a smoke shop near by. A couple actually. One stand alone and one in a mall. Anyone been to a franchise shop called "Up in Smoke"? They may just be around this area.

I've heard of one called "Up In Smoke" But mine that I go to is called "Blue Phoenix" I love it!

I totally agree with you, too. Yah, ever realize how kids are getting high off of huffing, air cans, household products, markers and dying butnone of those things are illegal, but drugs that young adults and teens smoke herbs or take a mind opening, safe drug are illegal because they "pollute the minds of children" I mean, I see cocaine(not coca leaves), meth, heroine and all the potentially dangerous drugs being illegal, but still. It's like a kitchen knife. A kidd can easily get it and probably make a sandwich with it. Obviously, if they're stupid, they can get cut. But it's inevitable(And in the case for herbal drugs, it's a dulled butter knife )

So is salvia a typical product for smoke shops to carry? Never been in one, as it is fairly easy to tell I'm not 18.

I think all head shops carry Salvia. I'm unsure about tobacco shops though. I doubt they have any.

Ohhh and guitarboy, I really liked the kitchen knife analogy

I've never tried salvia, but it's on my list. Ohio outlawed the stuff after the first "protect the children" craze. Besides, I wouldn't even know where to look for a head shop in my part of the state. You want something to smoke with, you make your own.

I too like the knife analogy. Cannabis is dull enough to be a spoon, though.

Haha exactly. I to see it as a spoon. The only possible thing that makes it a dull knife is that it can get a teen like myself in some very big trouble with police. But concerning health, its a spoon

But yea man, Salvia should definitely be on your list to AT LEAST try once. Hmm, maybe if you have a friend outside your state he could buy some at a headshop or online and then send it to you through the mail? It's small enough (even with the box it comes in) to just mail in a letter haha.

i don't really like smoking things anymore... alternatively, you could go online and get a tincture if you're interested. easier to gauge the dose that way and you don't lose precious smoke by accident!
