I am Seventeen... the 2008 election is the first one I've been old enough to really truly care about. It's terrible to find myself in a position where i am physically incapable of doing anything about something i care so strongly about. this is fucking torture!!! sitting by with the keys in and the engine running but no possible way to put this bitch in drive!!! i also realize that there are so many people my age that i wouldn't want to vote before maturing some that i do not oppose our voting age one bit...

i also feel saddened that my would be choice for prez was thrown back into the lake of powerless citizens and out of the river to change so quickly... he never had a chance and i really think it's soley because he had what it would take to run a country... it takes a different kind of person to run a country... i think people do not know what to think when they see this kind of person because one doesn't encounter them often... Ron Paul is different... in a way that i think makes him a suitable figure head for a country... he seems to have this sense of urgency towards change and more importantly change for the absolute benefit of 1.) Americans, 2.) The rest of the world. realistically this is what matters most. first, get america straight, secondly help out other countries where it's truly needed and not because of how helpful it would be for your brother's oil stocks.

he straight up didn't give a shit about anything but what he felt was right and how it would affect the people. His most important notable characteristic is that he isn't afraid to say 'fuck that, it's wrong'.

i feel as if i identify with this guy... when i read shit he's written or see him in a video or on tv i think, "yeah i can connect with this, he has good and legitimate ideas." and no one will give him the time of day because he isn't an undercover communist... [figure of speech]

this is truly saddening.

He isn't technically out of the race - but doesn't have any realistic chance of winning. John McCain though - hahahahahha didn't see that one coming.

BTW seis, he never dropped out of the race. The goal isn't to make Ron Paul president anymore, that hasn't been the goal since super tuesday. The goal we are reaching for now is to change the republican party, as the neo-con's changed it.

The neo-con's slowly manipulated and changed the republican party, from a party of REAL conservatism and fiscal responsibility, and they changed the party into a neo-liberal out of control spending buffet of a political party.

Paul supporters everywhere are infiltrating the GOP and slowly changing the party from within as did the neo-cons in the early 70's to the present.

We knew all along he would not win the election or the nomination, but he won over the hearts and minds of over 1.1 million registered voters...and there are MANY more supporters of ron pauls cause, and its not limited to the United States either.

We will prevail.

Yes It's "unpatriotic" to criticize your country according to neo-cons and neo-republicans, sorry neo people but, real republicans practice civil disobedience and protest, and real republicans don't take a surplus, and turn it into the biggest mindfuck of a deficit.

The real patriot is seen as a traitor, and the traitors (neo-cons) are seen as the patriots...I give them credit for being very clever and how they utilize their propaganda.

People who don't like criticism of the government are sheep, pure and simple.

Ron Paul is clearly the most educated person running. Even if you disagree with him, I can't see how anyone can fail to see that. Especially in economics. Hes also the only one with clear goals and solutions to the big problems. A lot of the problem which the other people never even talk about.

In a lot of ways his campaign is a huge success in getting people to pay attention about what is going on. And he brought up issues, that no one else will even touch.

Even though it seems unlikely I am still hoping for him, and I am supporting him all the way. Theres no way I am supporting any of the other people, they are all horrible. I will write his name in if I have to.

I'm a Ron Paul supporter as well but if he where to win he would be killed.
Corruption is rampant and America's breathing poisonous gas and quickly suffocating. Its really too bad. these bureaucrats and aristocrats are feeding us poison and Ron Paul is not part of their agenda... sad to say nether are the American people, we've become to dependent on the government and continue to sell our rights off to them. We are week, if not Ron Paul would be up for nomination right now.

He lost get over it. Nobody, with 7% of the votes overall will change America. McCain 1, Ron Paul 0.

Saying that Ron Paul supporters proberly don't understand something like mathematically impossible, or even impossible in general. Even Huckabee quited before Ron Paul. Also, didn't Huckabee beat Ron Paul.
