It sounded pretty lame at first, all the time-traveling, But it appeared there are some Very interesting theories that indicate time travel might be possible.
Also the multiple-universe (actually 'infinite-universes'theory also gets rid of the 'kill-your-grandfather-paradoxes'. There still are some holes in the whole reasoning I think. But nonetheless, this documentary really changed my views on sub-atomic-particle-time-travel at least.
Documentary 'The World's First Time Machine". 45 Minutes Long, but worth it.
What are you people's view on time-travel? I think that theorectially, it might be possible, however it will just cause particles to travel to different universes, I don't really think it is ever possible to transfer people, however if data could be transferred... man.
I think if people would send us data from the future, the present would just move to the direction of another future, so there isn't a paradox of 'the future can't send us that information'.

I think it might be possible. My friends are always saying stuff like "Well if it is possible why aren't we seeing people from the future yet?" It's because if they came out and said they were from the future , our government would harass them and interrogate them for answers, which could mess up the fabric of reality!![]()
Well if you do it in the way they said at the end, they might start showing up once they figure out how to make one.
It isn't a paradox.
Universe A ----> option 1: normal way ----> future X: People send information to Universe A
Universe A ----> option 2: altered by information from X ----> Future Y
Once the information from future X reaches universe A, Universe A immediately turns into something else.
It is because all possible universes in all possible times exist(, outside of time).
I see no paradox.

Also, the 'oh my god what if you killed your grandfather' is a lame paradox I personally think. It would actually change the future somewhat (and thus create some sort of paradox) if you would kick over a single garbage can. Like that poem/story about how the clap of a butterflies wings can cause a hurricane, you know?
It just always appears the ONLY way to have a paradox with time travel is if you kill your old man's old man.
