I've only read a few pages of it, seems really well done and thorough. Seems like the makers of zeitgeist bent facts and in some cases fabricated them. And to think I was so convinced...
'What is war?...In a short sentence it may be summed up to be the combination and concentration of all the horrors, atrocities, crimes, and sufferings of which human nature on this globe is capable' - John Bright
They are liars!
Come on! What if Martin Luther King said: "I kinda have a dream... nah, I don't wanna talk about it."

^lLMAO
Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
I could tell they were fabricating them all along. They gave a big list of Egyptian Gods and shit like that and gave them attributes they didn't. What snake would want to do something like that?
I also felt quite reliant on what they said about Moses' origins. I guess I should stick to Graham Phillips' work instead.
The starz...
The planets...
The intricate and dynamic machinery of nature...
Are you saying,
that all of this was created,
BY A MONKEY??????

In my opinion Zeitgeist was a good way to get people interested in something,
not informed (a documentary should always spark only interest, no deeper
understanding), but to be honest, I think in the long-run it hurts the seeking
of the true nature behind globalization, world politics, etc.
There are most certainly issues, but movies like Zeitgeist distort them and it
makes it easier to put aside a lot of decent arguments as conspiracy, even if
they are well researched.
Even though I don't dislike the movie. It is obviously an amateur documentary
and should be taken as just that, it has interesting points that can be further
investigated (and everyone has the means, who wants to). But anyone, who
just blindly believed everything that was in it would believe everything someone
else would say the next day. Case in point - Zeitgeist vs. debunked. There are
greys...
Come on! What if Martin Luther King said: "I kinda have a dream... nah, I don't wanna talk about it."
I agree that there are some distorted facts in the documentary, but I also believe there is more truth and objective news in that documentary than any news stations like CNN or Fox.
Many people like to right things off as a 'conspiracy theory' when it doesn't sound nice. Today most Americans are soft and unimaginative people and fail to see the reality of how this society operates. The truth is, we don't need a conspiracy theory to see what's going on. The people in power don't need to get together and conspire about doing illegal activities, etc. The people in power are all driven by one goal and that goal is to make windfall profits. This goal isn't hard to see, and when you think about it and start piecing everything together, it paints a pretty clear picture of what's going on. Like I said, we don't a conspiracy theory. The government and media, which are there to support the interests of multinational corporations, love to use the word conspiracy. They've mastered the usage of it and whenever a contradictory viewpoint has been brought into light, they label it 'conspiracy theory'. This is a classic example of how a fascist government operates, supressing contradictory ideology to their own sets of beliefs and policies.
Edit - The first and second part of Zeitgeist (the parts on religion and 9/11) I feel are redundant. If one watches the 3rd part (on the Federal Reserve) and Zeitgeist Addendum it will show you WHY we have institutions like the Christian Church. You don't even need to debunk Christianity to see that it's bullshit. Just understanding that institutions are established to benefit a small handful of people is enough to see why Christianity even exists (to this day), and gives enough reasons why not to follow it.

Is this for real? Of course Zeitgeist is bullshit. I knew it instantly when they tried to draw similarities between Horus and "Hey-sous". Seriously, we learned about these Egyptian gods in 6th grade, and a quick google search basically confirmed that what they were saying was utter bullshit. After that I promptly turned off the video.
wtf? Is this where Tarsier keeps getting this nano-bot shit?

It's propaganda, what did you expect. I liked these movies when I watched them, but if I watched them now I probably wouldn't. They had some good ideas, and I agree that government and religion should be abolished, as they are basically systems of slavery. But they went about it in the wrong way. The only way we are ever going to get rid of these cults is a kind of inner revolution. People need to take responsibility for themselves and stop looking for some big daddy to come down and fix their problems. Master you own mind, or someone else will.
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

THe thing that is so deceptive is that you don't view it as propaganda. Because it seems to have an underground view point, something that opposes the mainstream. I suppose it's kind of obvious with all the venus project bullshit.

I used to look into conspiracies a lot, and i saw what it was doing to me.
These 'conspiracies theories' are mostly mixed truths, and half-truths, disinformation, and some even intentionally misleading.
All it's doing is keeping you in fear. You cannot believe EVERYTHING you read on the internet. I don't even care anymore. I'm too busy enjoying life. I'm just focused on the 'here and now', that's all that is important.
And that's the bottom line. If there is any conspiracy it's to keep people poor and stupid.Master you own mind, or someone else will.
