The difference between indoctrination and education...

...is that education instructs students to use their brain, while indoctrination instructs students to use the bible.

Irreligious education teaches one to question everything.
Indoctrination teaches one to question nothing, not even the main tenet itself - "do not doubt".

Indoctrinated rules cannot be revoked, the main rule insures its own continuation.

I think its time you move on and try to have an actual discussion. The "I hate christianity, don't you?" threads are a little tiresome. I think I'd like to discuss something other than the christian religion. Personally, I don't make topics about things I don't believe in.

Well - I wasn't referring specifically to any religion (maybe I shouldn't have mentioned the bible at all).
But my point should still stand: telling a child to ignore all his/her doubts is a poisonous thing to do, because that can't be undone (well, it can but that doesn't often happen).

I am trying to make a discussion of some sort. If you don't agree with me, then I'd be interested to hear your reasons because I could be wrong.

How could you be wrong? Aside from blaming it on the bible, you pretty much just gave the definition of indoctrination and said -what-think?? Thats not exactly a discussion.

Well then the question is: do people actually do what I described? Should someone try to stop them? Someone on this board at some time said atheistic education what exactly the same as "indoctrination". Well this is my response - sort of.

But you're probably right anyway. It was kind of pointless writing this, so let's just ignore it and let it fade away.

Dude, seriously just shutup. If you are going to go into every thread bitching about how it was worded instead of the topic then just stay the fuck out.
