The Jewish God is no different God than The Christian. It is only slightly differently interpretated. Yahweh doesn't sound very western does it? It is the Jewish name for God. as is Adonnai (Lord) and Elohim or Eloh. From the last word, Eloh, The arabic word for God, Allah, was derived. They are the same, just seen through different cultural perspectives and therefor interpreted differently. But the Basics are the same. A higher power that is in us and rules us. That energy that makes us live and gave us a Mind of our own.

The question of wether God exists: God exists if you Believe in God. Belief is all about the Mind. The Mind is a powerfull thing. It can create a common understanding of the power that drives us, what makes us more than a dead pile of meat, skin, flesh and bones. It exists Indivually only. But that doesn't make it any less real or like it doesn't have any meaning. Same for dreams.

For some people God exists and for them God really exists. And some don't and therefor there is no God for them. Sounds simple but there's more to it you know.

the jewish god and the christian god are completely different!!

Jewish god: Vengful smiter who will some day send the messiah to take over the world by force. (their messiah is supposed to be a warrior, thats why they didnt accept "Jesus")

Christian god: loving, caring, forgiving god. He cares for humanity as it was his child.

Read the bible and compare the old testament and new testament.

your right about one thing. The topic is too big to handle, and no one person or a billion people can say FOR SURE if God exists. If you say you do know for sure you're either dilusional or lying

I cannot prove that God does not exist, but I also cannot prove that the Great Pumpkin does not exist. I can still say that it is a very far fetched concept. I will argue all day that there is no Great Pumpkin because it is an absurd idea, but I still cannot prove my point completely. Can you prove that invisible Swedish elves who are great at tennis don't live under your house?
