I am deeply, sadly offended by this grave topic, as a Scientologist, I find the only logical explanation is that L. Ron Hubbard would kill both of those lousy prophets and eat them for breakfast the next morning, and then overdose on Jesus' blood.

I would bet my money on Jesus. From my knowledge of Christianity and Islam - which is rather limited - Jesus had supernatural powers, while Mohammed was a ordinary guy. Well... both probably were, but go Jesus!

Actually, Jesus had nothing to do with those matters of Gentile Christianity that most offend Islam.

The Doctrine of the Trinity which makes Three Gods when only One God can legitmately exist within the Abrahamic Tradition, which governs Muslim and Jew alike. It was the Greeks, still used to their paganistic Polytheism, that thought that Three Gods was three times better than just One.

However, there is a significant difference between the persons of Jesus and Mohamed. Jesus was the son of a Virgin who was born immaculately from her own mother. So Jesus was born without the benefit of sex going back two generations. Indeed, to Marians it is rather disputable as to whom is more important to Religion, Jesus or His Mother Mary. Looking at Religious Revelation and Apparition over the last 2000 years, it is obvious that Mary has had greater applied influence. While Jesus has been appearing to nobody, Mary appears again and again and again.

Jesus would have been a great deal more important, as King of King Messiah, but he was murdered, and murdered still young, almost as He had just begun his bid for Power.

Mohamed was born a man. He made himself into a Prophet. He did live longer, but long enough to develop bad habits that only corrupted what should have been a exemplary Religion. Mohamed settling arguments with war and violence... such practices have haunted Islam ever since. A Religion of Brotherhood that finds War as the answer to everything.

Of course the Islamic Scholars were able to dodge and weave through the Koran in order to minimize such violence, and to turn Islam into a Civilized Higher Religion. But then, there is always some new Sect of Islamic Fundamentalists who distrust the scholars and reassert the doctrines of Holy War. If only Islam could convince Muslims to Worship the Koran while forebearing to actually read it.

Zionists are negatively influenced in much the same way by their Bible. They read about the genocidal military campaigns of Joshua slaughtering every man, woman and child in Canaan and then the Philistines, and they think that God has given them a license to kill every people that falls in the path of their ambitions. "Thou shall not covet thy neighbors land" is taken to apply only as it applies between Jew and Jew. Non-jews are considered non-human, less than animals, to be treated only as obstacles to eventual World Conquest.

Also, a negative in Religion is the horribly immoral example of Jacob -- a negative influence which may affect both Jew and Muslim depending upon how much of Jacob's career is documented in the Traditions of Islam. You see, Jacob lied and cheated to steal the Birthright from his older brother. So it is that Jews have come to think of Lying and Cheating in terms of Cunning, Skill and Cleverness. So it is that one can be cheated by a Jewish Businessman, and he will not experience a hint of moral guilt, but congratulate himself that Jacob himself could not have screwed over anybody any better.

It depends on whether Mohammad enters the steel cage with his crowbar. Now, I've seen Jesus whoop some major ass when things get rowdy at the Boar's Nest. But you have to admit, if somebody looks the wrong way at Mohammad, he gets pissed off and takes off his shirt and IS the biggest bad ass at the Nascar stadium!

Now that I think about it... Jesus is the infinitely powerful father of existence, including himself, while Mohammad is just some hick prophet.

Religion hides under a nice veil of peace. But through out history it is believed to have claimed more lives than war or disease.
I would hope most civilized societies and their religions in todays world, although mostly hypocritical in nature, would act in good faith. A personal crutch if you will.

Well actually, American black churches and South American catholic churches are still about love and peace... and Islam in Indonesia is peaceful... it's us whities and arabs that can't get right.

One might as well complain that Polish Resistance to NAZI aggression during the last great war was "Catholic".

If one can identify any number of purely political provocation to violence, then it is a great injustice to complain that Religion is the problem. When so many people complain that Religion is an inventiion intended to suppress and subjugate people, then it is greatly hypocritical that they should in their next breath complain that Religion DID NOT turn them away from their natural and justified Political Motivations.

Can we really blame Islam for not having Arabs 'turn the other cheek' and accept genocide at the hands of the Zionists like good sports.

Oh, which reminds me of the Zionist Propaganda movie "The Lion King" where we were all taught that there are certain "Chosen Animals" and that all of the other animals should be happy to be eaten up, just as long as they are eaten up by the "Chosen" animals.
