I think it's funny. I'm not a fan of Maddonna, but I think she should have the right to her own religious expression....If people can be on TV and speak up for Christianity, shouldn't people be aloud to speak against it? I mean, who is anyone to say that someone doesn't have the right?

yea, everyone is given the right to say what they want and how they want, but what's going on here is far more than just an oppinion, it's a flat out mockery, putting down everything many people live their whole lives for. i can't see how anyone can even justify saying Christians are worse or even close to Muslims in the radical sense. i've seen some people who would sit there and say, "You're going to hell for that!"...well, that person needs to read the Bible about where it says not to judge, they don't know if that person is saved or not, and have no authority to say they're going to heaven or hell.

i've seen and heard of more Christians dying for their faith and having their families killed and being murdered right it front of them, moreso than any other religion. Muslims don't get their heads chopped off, Christians do, muslims don't get planes flown in their buildings, Christians do. and if you think that wasn't the motive for 9/11, it was, that's why they did it, because they look at us and they see Chrsitians, they don't see atheists and different races and religions in one country, they see a one-religion country, and they hate us for it. i'm not saying all muslims do, but i'm saying that that's the reason for 9/11, that's the reason for martyres (spl?).

Ok, so, they didn't had planes and WTC's during the Crusades and during the Spanish Inquisition. Yet I am quite sure Alot of heads where chopped off. And hey, there were just following the old testament by every word: Kill the unbelievers. If following the bible doesn't make you a true christian, what does?

Put it this way every faith has it's bad seed in some form of fashion. I like to actually see a True Christian somewhere on this Rock. All I see are Hypocrites’. So maybe it doesn't favor well in individuals who are supposed to be so Righteous on how Muslims express their faith, but Mockery plays on several different levels. It's not about just Murder, you have Pastors fondling little boys and you have Preachers getting their grove on with the church choir members. It seems like we put Murder at the top of all things being evil and there is no real weight to it when you Mock the Father in Heaven, it's no different. If you ask me a lot of individuals proclaiming righteousness are just as guilty the only difference is it's not as publicly known.

And why focus on jesus' death anyway? That is another thing that bugs me about most Christian sects. They focus more on the death of Jesus than what he taught. In my opinion, it is an intricate idea that began centuries ago to GUILT TRIP people into Christianity.

Jesus "dying for your sins" means nothing. It doesnt give you a free ticket into heaven. Do what Jesus taught, and dont focus your faith on a morbid death.

you seem to miss the point. Jesus' death is only one part, his ressurection is the most amazing part. so, in truth, he didn't 'die'. and as i've stated many times, "Jesus not only gave us a door into Heaven to spend eternity with God, but he gave us his life to spend the time here on this Earth with God. Jesus was the closest being on the Earth and in Heaven to God, he was closer to God than we'd ever be, how much closer can we get by following Jesus' life and teachings?"

And no, we don't focus on Christ's death more than we do his teachings. reading the Bible and applying its values isn't just something we do once and a while, it's something we do everyday all day long...those 'things' in the Bible are Jesus' teachings (i.e. New Testament).

Being a Christian isn't easy, no one ever said it was, yet many people think it is. Christianity has been around so long that the words that are used so often are well overused and have lost their meaning. When we hear the word 'saved' it doesn't come with that same awesome power and joy that it used to. when we hear the word 'ressurection' we don't have that same feeling of the power of God and his willingness to physically live a life for us and to die and then raise again for us, all for us. Many new Chritians claim to be christians but are no where close to being a Chritsian. i'm not going to sit here and tell you what you have to do to be a Christian, but there is a way to act, and when you step out of those bounds, you don't just make yourself look bad, you make all of us look bad, and you make Jesus look bad, which is exactly what's happened in the past fifty years.

Yea, there are lots of 'Christians' who do things wrong, who mess with other women, who mess with kids, who do things that are wrong, but am i going to say they're not saved? no, that's not my decision, and it's not my place to say they aren't, am i going to say they're perfect? no. and i'll tell you right now, being a Christian DOESN'T mean that you're perfect in any way, and those who think this (Both non-Christian and Christian alike) are sorely misinformed. the Bible speaks completely against that, in fact that is WHY Jesus died and rose again for us, because we were IMPERFECT, therefore keeping us out of Heaven because God, being perfect and Holy, cannot associate with sin and disobedience. God cannot commune with something that he exist completely against. The human race at one time WAS perfect, Adam and Eve, but they stepped out of bounds, which has sent us spiralling down into a pit of sin that we cannot get out of.

Being a Christian means you GIVE UP your life and follow Jesus, you give up the things that are between you and God and you follow the teachings and life of Christ. no Christian can do this completely, and no Christian can be perfect. All a Christian can do is try, and try hard they must. we can't rely on our own strength, because it will fail us (i know, i've lived it), you have to rely on God's strength, his power, and you have get rid of things that are disobedient to God. God's not trying to control your life, he's trying to make it better. you can choose not to follow Christ's teachings and not to accept Jesus' gift of eternal life with God, or you can choose to accept his gift and follow his teachings with all your might and get as close to God as you can. you won't ever be perfect, and your life will be full of mistake after mistake and problem after problem, but these mistakes and problems are meant to teach us, for us to use them to get closer to God. we aren't meant to sit here and say "Oh look at me, i'm a Christian and i'm holy", no, because number one, that'd be showing off, and number two, that'd be a complete and utter lie.

Christians are not perfect, and cannot be perfect, and those who think they are, they're lieing to themselves. now let's learn the definition of a hypocryte: Someone who acts like they are someone/something else that they are not. Christians who say, "I don't cuss" and then turn around and cuss, they are hypocrytes, but Christians who say, "I don't cuss" and accidentally make a slip up and pray to God to forgive them and ask those around them to forgive them, they are not hypocrytes, they are Christians.

nothing negative about that. but the biggest part is that most Christians leave out section B of the situation. asking forgiveness is part A, part B is about repentence, or turning AWAY from our mistakes. it won't be easy, and it's often the hardest part of being a Christian, because we have to change the ways we LIVE and ACT completely, not just say i'm sorry and keep making the same mistake over and over again. Does this mean a murderer should get away with murder? absolutely not, but whether you judge them or not isn't the matter, if this person asks God to forgive them and turns to God and away from their sin, they are forgive, nothing you can do about that. you can hang him, shoot him, let him rot in prison, but if he asks for forgivness and changes his ways and is saved and you aren't, you'll be the one facing God on judgment day, not him.
