I'm still a novice in learning about chakras, but that is a very interesting question; "which makes more sense?" I'd like to hear Leo's answer on this one.
I started doing some research on Christianity, and obviously the Church's standpoint on the whole concept of sex and lust is a sin. Since I'm the type of person who is never satisfied with one particular religious claim, I also started doing research on the concept of each person having an astral body, and chakras, etc. I read that when a certain chakra is not aligned properly, that the person is not at their best, so to speak. One particular theory I read was when we suppress certain wants, needs and desires, some of our chakras get out of place causing the astral body to not be in sync. After reading all of this I started to wonder which theory makes more sense? In the Christian belief, fulfilling one's desires is a sin and "ungodly" because each person's body has a holy spirit, and any form of sin done with the body is sinning against God, Christ, and the holy spirit. On the other hand, the whole study of chakras contradicts that view point, claiming that whenever we supress our natural urges, that unfulfilled desire manifests itself in some other way, and becomes unhealthy to the person. What do you guys think?

What I'm wondering is - should it be controlled? on the Christian basis it's a sin to surrender to your desires. But even if it can be controled, from the chakra perspective - wouldn't it be bad/unhealthy to supress a natural desire? I guess this is a matter of opinion, but...Originally posted by Awaken4e1

I understand what you mean, but I think Night's trying to say that the strain on the chakra in question by witholding that desire could work to offset the natural balance that is supposedly kept between all (I believe there are 7) chakras. Is that not plausible? I believe so.Originally posted by Awaken4e1
