Should be in R/S instead of here...![]()
Suppose that, agnostic (or atheist) by the way, that in the bible, when referring to the Revelations, that when they mention about the dead walking among the living....They meant ghosts? I mean think of it, alot of "natural disasters" have been occurring lately, put two and two together (Meaning alot of deaths and no real answers for the "lost souls".) . Would make sense to me, then again, just a thought that ran through my mind.
I'm not saying I believe everything that is written in it but you just never know.
“If your love is true and pure,
There is no heart that can ignore.
If there is one that questions it,
Convince you both are a perfect fit.”
I get that logic.
Makes more sense than zombies.![]()

A lot of things in Revelations can be linked with things going on today. It could have been linked with a like that went on during the time around 1929 to early 1940s.
I really haven't noticed a big climb in natural disasters though. I've seen worse times than now with natural disasters.
I don't know if I'd actually consider a ghost to be totally dead either, because they're really just stuck in limbo. That is considering that ghosts are real, which I don't believe.
“If your love is true and pure,
There is no heart that can ignore.
If there is one that questions it,
Convince you both are a perfect fit.”

Could you quote the verse from Revelation?
You don't need to worry about ghosts though. The Bible says "The dead are conscious of nothing at all" (Ecclesiastes 9:5). When we die, that's it... until the resurrection. But that won't come until governments attack all religion, then God destroys all governments.
We are in "the last days" though.
But you should also remember that 'a thousand years is like a day, and a day is like a thousand years to God' (2 Peter 3:8)
Why do I need to be such a perfectionist.... I have to go look up those verses now so I can show you from the Bible where it says those things. Curse this memory of mine lol

Edited....... now to find specifics on religion and government being abolished.....
*whew* That one took a bit longer! Revelation 13:1-18 speaks of the Wild Beast which symbolizes the worlds governments as well as the U.N (the beast who was, then was no more, then was again. The UN was first the League of Nations which was abolished and became no more, but then it was resurrected so to speak and called the United Nations). And Rev. 15:1–16:21 speaks of the fall of the Wild Beast.
Rev. 17:1–19:10 speaks of God's judgment against Babylon the Great, which is the World Empire of False Religion. It also speaks of the Marriage of the Lamb (Christ) to his anointed heavenly followers (144,000 people which are to rule as Priests and Kings with Christ over the faithful still on earth for 1,000 years).
If you're interested (are allowed and/or are trusting), you can email me your address and I'll send you a book called "Revelation- It's Grand Climax at Hand" which explains all of this MUCH better than I ever could lol. Revelation is a complicated book filled with symbolism.
Hope this has helped.

its like you've been teleported from the medieval ages! Seriously, why do you hold onto crappy stone age beliefs?
Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"
Nicodemus took Jesus literally. And was wrong.

Job asked a similar question. Job 14:14 "If an able-bodied man dies can he live again?"
The point is they had a spiritual hunger and deep humility to ask and learn the answers to such questions.

NoSome of the Bible is very literal but Jesus himself was famous for using hyperbole and illustrations. And the book of Revelation is filled with complex symbolism that is lost on most people (myself at times included
)
And I didn't have a question other than to where in Revelation the Poster referred. I was simply trying to help by offering my Bible-based views to answer a good question.
