You don't need to fit a pre-defined label, but I suppose it's good to know the terminology that goes best with your belief system.

I was wondering because It's really hard to explain my beliefs in one word thanks for the good reply's guys.

You can just say you are being spiritual.

The word spiritual carries with it many different beliefs that make it an empty term to use.


I think it necessary for you to explain what you mean when you said "I do belive in some higher power."

Specifically define what qualities a "higher power" must have have in order for it to be called a higher power.

If you don't know what religion you are, then I'm guessing that you don't belong to a religion. It's not mandatory for a person to belong to a religion, you could decide to be intelligent and just have the beleifs you have without attaching yourself to something.

From my own personal experience, I would say that if you want to understand spirituality then it is best not to classify. Classification is the opposite of understanding; it just creates a flase sense of identity. Spiritual understanding is beyond words.

The fact that you accept evolution/big bang exclude fewer religions then you might think, but since you haven't claimed any of those faiths I would say that you aren't a religion at all. Maybe one could call you agnostic...
