Will this work out?

Perhaps after a week or two some of the members who post frequently in this new forum (or read it frequently) can contact me to let me know how they think this is working out. A problem that occurs to me is off-topic posts/threads: I'm not immediately sure on how to handle that, because moving them would involve assigning a moderator, which isn't quite aligned with the unmoderated state of this forum. If anyone--who again frequently uses this forum--has any thoughts on that, please feel free to contact me with ideas. Again, though, let's give it a week or so.

I think the overall manner of the forum is more at ease than Philo, There are few scragglers from Philo who still beating the same ole' dead horse.

Other than that its running along smoothly, I think...

I think this forum is awesome. There are a few scragglers here from philo who are still dropping grenades and trying to ride away on horses, but debating rude people who don't actually believe what they are saying is a lot of fun.

I say that if people leave off topic posts here, just send them a warning that their posts are about to be deleted. I don't think there are too many adults out there who don't know what "religion/spirituality" means. Those who don't aren't going to have enough mental capacity to remember that they left a post here any way. So I say 3 day warning, and then delete.

I use up most of my civility debating politics on a separate site, so this new (unmoderated) forum is a refreshing outlet for me to take a few cheap pokes at some of the theist.

I personally think, that the new forum is a success overall...kudos to the mods.

It's nice to open my inbox and NOT find all kinds of PMs demanding that I ban this member or that.

Indeed Icedawg, this forum is a good outlet of radient energies.

It is the Kurrekshetra. Actually more of a mosh pit of agressitive ideas and mental outlets.

A great good can come from dynancism, not always, but many times.
