On the alarm clock, what does the "snooze" button do?

Torture me....I tend to think I'm "snoozing" for like 7 min. and the damn thing never goes off again. Stupid alarms.

It mutes the alarm for a pre-set number of minutes before going off again. I think mine's set to 9 mins. I usually hit my snooze 3 times before actually getting up.

Th snooze button is your friend.

I don't know how many minutes mine is set for, but sometimes it doesn't matter cause I'll have already fallen back asleep.

Speaking of alram clocks, has anyone turned theirs off in their sleep? I reckon I have a couple of times now, very annoying. Sorry about hijacking your post it just seemed appropiate.

Yup, I will turn my alarm clock off in my sleep Oh, and my sleep button is preset on 9 or 10 minutes.

      ETA :
I know have moved my alarm clock away from my bedside so I have to get up to turn it off and won't unconsciously switch it off!

Hmm that woudn't work for me I'm experimenting with FILD and have a very short-cabled alarm clock. Sorry for taking your topic again, but I think that what the snooze button does had been explained.

Hmm, do you have a mobile phone that vibrates? Maybe you could put it on silent so it just vibrates and put it near your arm or something. That might be less disturbing for FILD. Sometimes a rotation of alarm clocks helps...

      (sorry for the hijack)
