I oredered a bottle about a week ago, so I am hoping it is in soon.
I figured I'd give it a whirl after being unimpressed with GABA.
I'm starting to think there is no magic bullet... and only hard work and deligence will maintain lucid dreaming.![]()
I stumbled across this while studying lucid dreaming online:
http://www.dreamsupplement.com/
Sorry if it's been mentioned afore, but I thought it sounded interesting. Although frankly I'm skeptical of it. And I had to role my eyes that they kept using sex as a way to sell the drug. I mean, come on!![]()

As I saw on their web site it contains some melatonin with galantamine and choline. Well, these first don't like (supress) each other. Although melatonin makes you drowsy it worsens dream recall. These pills are supposed to be taken before bed and they are sort of compromise as the result of misunderstanding of LD mechanism. I recommend something having galantamine with more choline and take it after 4-5 hours of sleep.
Besides some time has passed and I am curious how these Brilliant D pills work for you?

Since you asked. This occured at the end of April, through May, and I kept notes while taking 2 pills per night. (except for 3 days where I was injured and couldn't really sleep, so I didn't take the pills) I didn't bother to post because there wasn't much interest as far as I could tell.
The point of this was, I wanted to know if I could LD without doing the normal work by using a suppliment instead.
Day 1- 8 specific normal dreams- This is double more normal dreams I usually remember.
Day 2- No memory of dreams, but I know I had them, I just can't remember
Day 3- Dreaming all night long, the dreams were long- Lots of motion in the dreams (fast movement, sliding, flying)
Day 4- Normal Dreams, well, except the Leafs won the Stanley Cup in 5 games. These pills may affect my cognitive reasoning.
Day 5- Normal Dreams
Day 6- Normal Dreams
Day 7- Wild insane vibrant lucid dream... after I became lucid, I actually gave up being lucid because I wanted to see how the dream would play out without my medling. (1st time I've done this)
Day 8- Vivid Dreams
Day 9- Vivid Dreams
Day 10- Normal Dreams
Day 11- Normal Dreams
Day 12- Normal Dreams
Day 13- Lucid Dream: Intense emotional dream, I woke up with Euphoria, a rarity in my dreaming experiences. (this would be the 4th time this has happened in my life)
Day 14- Intense Lucid Dream: A dream of a dilemna Left over from the past (personal, so no details)... still ingrained in my head to this day.
Day 15- Normal dreams
Day 16- Lucid Dream: Dream training on teleportation. Started to focus to teleport and changed background location momentarily, and then failed at the last second and everything changed back. I Floated off from originating point and got annoyed, and woke up.
17: Normal Dreams
18: Normal Dreams
19: Lucid Dream: Light Emitting Vampires (don't ask)
20: Lucid Dream: Huge crasing waves and coming flood, so I became lucid and created a building for me and my friends. This was fun, the building was made out of glass, so we got to watch the waves smash over and over, destroying everything around us.
21: Lucid Dream: "Pacified" an 8 armed demon queen in an arena with lots of hand to hand battles going on.
22: Teen movie lucid dreamHung out on the block with teenage friends, zombie problem, evading the cops, immature situational comedy etc...
23: Pulled my back in an accident. Took No pills: No Dreams
23: Pulled my back in an accident. Took No pills: No dreams
25: Pulled my back in an accident. Took No pills: No dreams
26: Lucid Dream: Bus trip to the stanley cup finals at the Palladium. GO Sens Go! (the Sens did make it to the cup for the 2007 year)
27: Lucid Dream: Sword training, super speed around the sword shop... gashed on the leg during unarmed disarm- still won though
28: Normal Dreams
29: Normal dreams
30: Normal dreams
31: Lots of small dreams (16 I can rememeber, but all meaningless)
32: Lucid Dream: Real life Dungeons and Dragons adventure with old friends.
33: Lucid Dream: The darker powers (don't ask) offered to embed me with a "sniffer" (a kinda cray fish like tracker). It felt real enough and is apparently quite the honour, as it can be embedded in others to let me always find them. I graciously declined. (I'd also point out this is a dream, and not real incase you fly off the handle reading this crazy Beyond Dreaming forum goers)
So, the tally is 12 LDs in 30 days of pills and a whole lot of vivd dreams without doing any work.
I normally get 2-3 Lucid Dreams every 2 week period without really trying.
I can get 4-5 every 2 weeks if I am deligent and do the work to trigger them.
So yeah, the pills worked for me. I will order them again if I ever have a dry spell. (which was the other ultimate point of this exercise)

I was going to ask about these myself, actually. There's nothing dangerous in them, then? Or illegal if I were to order them from oz?

Wow! I am impressed. I expected shouting in vain as the last post was from April but here we are - nice surprise. Also by your dream log OrionStyles. I have used Lucid Dreamer pills so far - about 10 attempts. Unlike Brilliant Dreams pills they contain 4mg galantamine / 200mg choline. Unfortunately I had only one blurred LD. The problem I have is after intake (1 pill) I can't get asleep. My head is turned on like the bulb. I lie, relax and wait but can't go deeper down. 2-3 hours passes by and when the pill stops working (peak is after 90min.) I sink into a dream but unconsciously. I am going to try Alpha GPC which starts and peaks later.
Do you take pills straight before bed or after 4-5 hours of sleep?
Do you WILD or DILD?
To iank - they are 100% natural though after an intake ideally you have to wait 48 hours after galantamine get flushed form your body. No side effects. Fortunately there's no problem to get'em via internet.

Yes, galantamine/choline combos work wonders. The current understanding is to only take them every couple days (Once a week? Once a month?), since galantamine has a long half-life. You will quickly develop a tolerance for the GM.
The dosage and timing is crucial. You also have to have a fundamental understanding of how to become lucid. The drug only helps to prime your brain chemistry. I would do some research and mix your coctails yourself so you can adjust the dosage, timing, and delivery method.
I would be a little scared of the melatonin. It sounds like a bad idea, to me, to take the melatonin at the same time as the GM/Choline.

Anyway, I am giving up any pills for some time and dedicate all effords to polish my WILD skills. I just need to be a bit more focused while reaching sleep paralysis. Sounds easy but will see this night...

Reading the sentence below do not take if you have autoimmune disease, depressive disorder, epilepsy or leukemia.
I had Leukemia when I was young. I wonder why you can't take these if you did?
Yes he took them every day. I would wonder if it would affect its effectiveness.
I take Dreamamins "Lucid Dreamer" and it has Galantanine and Choline.
They say to take them every 3 days because of this. I don't think brilliant dreams says this...they should IMO.
Dreamamins works great for me, but I only take it every third morning.
REALITY CHECK
Achievements:
Yeah, I sometimes take a little bit of melatonin with my galantamine/choline. It helps me fall back to sleep easier when I feel too awake.
I use this supplement and have had a very high rate of success with it.

Regarding ingredients of Brilliant Dr. I found that Melatonin up to 0.5mg (as stated on the list) doesn't suppresss REM. To extend the time of LD I would reccomend Alpha GPC That peaks ofter 3h thus perfectly takes over Choline's role. Choline's half life is 1.5h. Besides it's only 100mg of it while 200mg (or more) is optimum.
I'm new here and I have been on bodybuilding forums for about 5+ years and I was recently chosen to test a product be IBE called X-Dream. I ran a log on Anabolicminds.com. This product contains a metabolite of melatonin called 2-bromo-melatonin. The product works incredibly well at lucid dream induction.
Checked out this X-Dream. Looks interesting. Have you had many lucid dreams with the X-Dream?
this x-dream supplement does sound interesting, I might pick some up.
I find that with X-Dream, lucid dreams are induced much easier. I haven't had to perform any difficult reality checks. The active component 2-bromomelatonin has been showed to have tremendous potential with anesthetic properties and having a shorter half-life of actual melatonin, you don't have to worry about feeling absolutely worthless and groggy upon wakening. This is of course if indeed you are one of those people that reacts to it that way.
I tried a lot of sleep products over the course of my supplementation phase ("oh this looks promising", etc) and this one is the most unique working formula I've ever used. I emptied the caps and tried it sublingually (the powder tastes kinda raunchy) and I held it there for 5 minutes and swished it a little and I felt the effects within a few minutes after.
My steady experience with the product is that:
1. I take it on an empty stomach with a full glass of water and do my thing (brush teeth, etc) and lay down in bed after about 10 minutes).
2. I drift off peacefully, even if I'm a little worked up. I don't even remember falling asleep.
3. When I find myself in the dream, I am able to more easily distinguish that I'm in a dreamscape and high-lucidity becomes possible.
4. I wake up after about 6.5 hours on this stuff. I looked up the half-life of 2-bromomelatonin and it's about 6 hours. This makes sense. I wake up refreshed. I normally need about 8-8.5 and sometimes 9 hours of good sleep to recover properly, due to my intense exercise habits and my brain chemistry, etc.
I would say that this product is in a league of it's own. More of a 'dream aid' than a 'sleep aid'.
Force of Green, I just placed an order for X-Dream. I hope it works as well for me!
.
If the half-life is 6 hours do you think there will be a problem with building of tolerance and Is this to be taken every night?
I also see that its directed at the body builder community. Would that have any effect on people, lets say me, that dont train at all?![]()
Oh crap.. now I'm worried that I got the old version.. how can I tell?
I got my X-Dream here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/ibe/xdream.html
Where did you get the NEW version?
.
Jammy, for sure! I think it's being aimed at the wrong market. This 2-bromomelatonin was never used in a supplement before and as one of the testers, I was astonished in it's capabilities that I did not forsee. I can not attest that it has any bodybuilding purposes specifically, other than bodybuilder's need sleep too. Hahaha. Damn, I'm tired of the BBing community forums.
To be honest, most 'bodybuilders' or 'hobbyist bodybuilders' want some formula to just knock you out. Most of them buy a sleep aid because they're running stimulants and their adrenals are going too long that they can't get 'lights out'. Things like phenibut, L-Dopa, etc, should do the trick for that.
This product may not even be appreciated very much by the BB community, who knows?
Clairity, I'm pretty sure it's the new version that you got, except they forgot to update the ingredient profile. If you have any problems with that, let me know. Nutraplanet.com sells the newer one.
